Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. When I press my finger against the end of the barrel on my TSO (not pushing it out of battery), and wiggle it side to side, should I be able to feel movement between the barrel and bushing? And hear a perceptible chicka-chicka-chicka? Maybe I should look into that undersized bushing..........
  2. Ok. The factory ammo I'll run has a PF of ~130 (Blaser 115 FMJ). Seems like I could try both the 11lb & 13lb springs and see what my sight picture recovery time looks like.
  3. New TSO 9mm owner here. Shot her yesterday for the first time, what a machine! A question about recoil springs, I'll be running factory 115 and/or 124gr for some competitions that require really quick target transitions/ followup shots, like bowling pin matches. Can I safely run the 13lb spring or should I stick with the 16lb?
  4. Just picked up a Franchi Affinity 12/26" and am trying to figure out the right mods to start with. If I get a +6 tube from Nordic or MOA Precision where will it land relative to the end of the barrel with an extended choke? Does anyone have pics of their decked out Affinity? I've got large hands so I think I want to add the oversize bolt handle/release button also. New guy here, thanks for any wisdom you can impart.
  5. Great thread. Thank you for including some videos. I have a LOT to learn. I'm brand new to USPSA (or any competitive pistol shooting for that matter). I was relieved to discover I'm a competitor (rather than merely participant), but reading this forum and this thread shows just how steep the learning curve is.
