Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Very nice. I'm looking forward to working it up! Still haven't set up the reloading bench!
  2. Click once on the message you want to quote, then a box pops up. At least that's what happens on my phone?
  3. Thanks for the advice, I figure I'll try them out for the Glock, and if they aren't great, I'll load them for 1911.
  4. Thanks Steve! What OAL with that mix?
  5. Thanks everyone! How do I quote text from previous replies?
  6. Thanks Jack! I've started on my "light" reading?
  7. Right! Best I can see getting is +4 arredondo extensions, and at 17 rounds, I'm still way behind. But as I stated, I know I'm wrong, but it'll be fun ?
  8. Thanks Jim! Even with having to load at max, are you pleased with the powder? Good accuracy results as well?
  9. I'm going with what I think is fun...I know it's not super ideal, or cheap, but I'm doing it anyway? So...I've got a gen3 g21 with a Lone wolf 6"barrel and slide, ghost connector, titanium safety plunger, 6lb trigger spring, steel guide rod with a 17lb spring. I'm planning on starting in lim10 until I can afford mag extensions, and a mag well. Anyone else doing this? I'm curious to hear your thoughts, or how else it can be done.
  10. It's the Lone Wolf barrel and slide in 6", it's got the slide cutout, just like the 34/35, but the width is the same as the g21 slide. I found the gun at a gun show and it came with both Lone wolf barrel and slide and OEM barrel and slide. Couldn't pass it up?
  11. I'm new to reloading, and in preperation, I purchased 8lbs of Clays. After seeing it mentioned in forums all over, I figured I had better jump on it when I saw it! I'm loading for a 6" bbl glock 21, I'm looking for advice on projectiles that cycle in my glock while using Clays. I have win large primers, asst brass, and currently 200g coated swc, but read a little that swc's don't always run in a double stack setup. (?) Looking for any help! Thanks a bunch! Also, I am aiming to keep major pf.
  12. Hello all! I joined up for a few reasons, the most pressing one currently is handloading.45 acp. My main handgun that I'll be loading for is a gen3 Glock 21. It has a 6" lone wolf slide and barrel set, along with connector, springs, and other neat, go fast stuff. I'll also be loading for a Kriss Vector .45 PCC, so I'd eventually like a shared round. But, for now... I picked, up 8lbs of Clays, 1000 230g RN coated lead, Winchester primers, and some cases I've gathered along the way. My goal is to run this g21 in limited (I know, I'll be out gunned in mag capacity),that being said, I need to hit major PF. What's a good place to start with those components? I've got a Lymans and Hornady book for reference, but they're not much on Clays. I'm wide open on bullet choice as well. I found a local guy that does both coated and plain lead. Thanks!!!
