  1. I ran 147 flat nose in mine no issues also tried 124 and 160 grain round nose hasn't had an issue yet my 147 load makes 139Pf 160 grain load was about 132pf. 124 grain was American Eagle factory

    P320 X5 Thread

Picked up a X5 and a Romeo 1 to compete in IPSC Production Optics a little over a month ago loving the gun so far only issue I am having is with the ejection pattern brass is ejecting almost straight back and beating up the top right corner of the optic. I am just under 3000 rounds in and the top right corner of the optic is almost bare metal. I shoot a 147gr load thats fairly stout makes just shy of 140pf. Anyone else have this issue any tips bought some 124gr and 160gr bullets to try would really like to go to a softer shooting load in the 130pf range. Unfortunately in IPSC I cant change the stock recoil spring and rod until the legion comes out and gets approved then I can put those parts in.
  3. My experience matches yours I have a 320 X5 and handled a Q5 SF this weekend the X5 grip is just long enough for my hand actually wish it was 1/4in longer. The Q5 SF felt about an inch shorter a lot of my hand was hanging off the heel I would be worried about jamming it into the magwell on reloads didn't like it at all felt almost the same length as a Glock 19 no idea why they would make a match gun with a carry size grip I didn't realize the germans had such small hands.
  4. I have a question I have a Tactical Sport in 9mm that I picked up used for a good price for 3 gun. I am thinking of shooting IPSC Standard division is it possible to do the conversion the other way with the Tactical sport ie put a .40 barrel in a 9mm slide or is the breech face different between the 9mm and .40 TS slide. Thanks Blake
