  1. Thanks for the link...it gave me a duh moment. While that riser seems neat, i found a better (obvious) solution within the thread. I’m just going to make my own shim and get some longer screws to go between the rail mount and the cmore. Not sure where to buy sheet of Delrin, but I’m vrafty enough to find a suitable material.
  2. Ahh, I didn’t realize you tried it without the Stock bumper in place. Did you happen to try it with the bumper for comparison?
  3. Are you suggesting only FMJ/TMJ’s for these?
  4. I have a cmore railway on my rig and I really like it. However, it’s a little to low and I’d like to raise it up a little, maybe 1/4-1/2”. What have others done?
  5. Eric, Here’s a thought. When using the scs/smalley setup, what about not using the JP bumper at all, but instead using a simple spacer like one of the ones I have from you? I think part of that weird impulse we feel might be from the bolt hitting the bumper which then flexes a little just as it squeezes the smalley. With just a spacer it would let the bolt travel a little further and hit something solid that will immediately transfer energy to the smalley. Thoughts? Im going to try it today and see if there’s any noticeable difference.
  6. Mine seems fine. I tested up to 1.157 and they spin...now if I could only get them to load properly :-(
  7. 6 shots at 7 yards? Low ready? Stock on belt? let me know your parameters and I’ll try it and we can compare notes.
  8. When their blue set become available again I’ll be on them like my shots on the D-zone!
  9. Looks like the mbx complete pcc will utilize an NFA lower ? sorry for the derailing of post
  10. Could to short of a stoke lead to feeding issues? Also, could too light of a buffer spring also cause feeding issues?
  11. Update… I got my new firing pins and retaining pin from FedEx Today. Took it to the range and fired 150 rounds with no problem. Looks like I will be able to shoot my match tomorrow after all :-) But for those of you on the fence do yourself a favor and go ahead and place an order for a back up firing pin, or two. I ordered 3 CMMG Stainless steel pans from primary arms at $11.99
  12. I broke my firing pin today. However, upon taking it apart I noticed the firing pin -retaining pin (I have the push pin looking thing, not the cotter key) was also broken. I remembered having some trouble with it last night after I took it all apart and cleaned it and I'm thinking maybe the retaining pin broke, material got into the firing pin housing and somehow caused the pin to break. It was just the tip sheared off. I also noticed that the tail end of the firing pin has started to mushroom a bit and its apparent my hammer is at least partly hitting the edge instead of hitting the face flush. Have a match Saturday so I used primary arms and ordered 3 cmmg pins ($11.99 each) and a new retaining pin ($7,99).....and overnight shipping ($29.99 ) that will teach me to keep spares on hand.
  13. -Any lower parts kit will work. -mission first minimalist or Rogers super Stock - any muzzle break should do. you’re only benefit to having one is redirecting sound and a little extra weight to keep down muzzle rise. - handguard is personal preference (hand size, budget, looks, weight). There are hundreds of options there.
  14. Mine is very similar, but probably closer to 6.5lbs. I’ve only shot it at 2 uspsa matches and I like it so far. At my first steel match I fell in love with it!
  15. Any chance the mag springs are old and worn out? otherwise I think it’s going to be a bolt problem. Or maybe the upper or lower is out of spec and the bolt is riding to high. I’d be on the phone with qc10. Sid you buy blem parts?
  16. For shits and grins I would try loading short. I started using UMC factory ammo albecausw it is the shortest I could find and so far through 300 rounds not 1 issue.
  17. No markings on the projectile? Also, how long are you loading?
  18. Here’s a tip for optics planet. If you do the live chat option and ask for a deal (on virtually any item) they will give you a discount price! I just found this out recently and have done it twice and the items I bought were cheaper than any price I’d ever seen.
  19. Also, are you getting enough crimp on your ammo? Until the barrel is broken in (smoothed out around the edge) your brass might be hanging up on it. I hit mine with some sand paper and my similar issues went away. Also, have you tried multiple mags and are the glock or off-brand? Might have an angle problem
  20. Brand of upper, lower, barrel, mag, etc?? also what buffer and spring is in there?
