  1. Now this looks very interesting, especially the price https://www.deltateamtactical.com/Tactical-Inovations-Group-TIG-Gen-2-9mm-PCC-Blowback-Full-Mass-Bolt-Carrier-Group--For-Glock-or-Colt-Mag-Lowers-or-Adaptors_p_6570.html?mc_cid=24510162ff&mc_eid=1d78260489
  2. Update. I got to fondle one while at a match this weekend. It is for sure an NFA style lower, but it is a VERY nice machine! It’s built well and feels solid. The weight is suprisingly light and it looks and feels very good. The grip is hands down the best AR grip I’ve ever handled...I want that grip on all of my ARs. At the current price point (regardless of the lower it’s using) I’d be all over it if I needed another! Hell, I might just “need” one anyway ?
  3. For steel challenge I’m thinking I’d rather use a few small mags instead of my big sticks. I know the knock off big sticks can be troublesome, but what about the little guys? I’m thinking 12-20 rounders would do. Any recommendations or thoughts?
  4. Sweet. I’m envious of the 3D printing. What lower is that?
  5. Another thought, how about filling up the shroud with foaming barrel cleaner and letting it marinate for a long time. Then maybe find some kind of plug that is the same diameter as the shroud and pushing it through
  6. Question, is it lead that is accumulating on the shroud or is it the poly coating?
  7. I think he’s suggesting the residue build up might become extremely hard to clean out if you don’t clean it out regularly. I wonder if the stuff people are spraying on their comps to make cleanup easier would help inside the aluminum shroud as well? Tim, thoughts?
  8. JoeBobs has the 24 on sale for $119 and the 24E for $129!! best prices I’ve seen yet
  9. Perhaps the term NFA-spec 9mm lower should be used when describing this variety of lower. However, I don’t know if NFA owns the patent, or was simply the first to make that design. It’s like the Kleenex of 9mm lowers. 10 companies make facial tissue, but we call all of them Kleenex.
  10. AH HA!! Old guy eyes strike again? ? ? I thought 155 was a bit brisk for that ammo out of a 5”r.
  11. I agree. One of my pcc’s is an NFA and it works. It’s a little sloppy in the magwell and my mags can rock back and fourth quite a bit. But as long as I don’t touch the mag or have anything touching it that would change the feed angle then it runs fine. Otherwise, it’s jam city.
  12. A dancing panda has nothing on you! Looked good to me :-) so are you using the blitzkrieg? Extra smalley spring? What’s up?
  13. Well at least it’s a good looking $900 gun!?
  14. On Facebook I asked directly “is this an NFA lower” and their response was, “no, CK lower”. I was like okie dokie ?
  15. Is it just me, or does anyone else notice their lower is a NFA? Granted it’s a knock off of course with their branding, but nonetheless an NFA.
  16. Hot damn, that’s hot! Are you at high altitude or something?
  17. I forgot to add that I also have loaded some bayou 147 RN with very similar numbers So in all I have: Bayou 124 Rn (steel) 3.2 n320 *I might try 3.0/2.8 1.12 Bayou 124 RN (uspsa) 3.8 n320 1.12 Bayou 147 RN (steel) 2.8 n320 1.12 Bayou 147 Rn (uspsa) 3.2 n320 1.12 I should be able to chrono all this week and report back with numbers. However, my main focus now is just a steel load so I can having a winning load for the AL state match in December
  18. I’ve had longer loads and kept having issues. So far with 1.12 I have not had a single feed problem. I’m sure I could go to 1.13 but I don’t really know why folks drag them out and load long, I just don’t really understand the science of it all. I just try things until I find what works. In my gun 1.12 is what works reliably.
  19. I have not chrono’d them yet as I made them strictly for steel. However, I suspect they’ll be at about 115-120pf. The rounds I made up for matches is the same as yours except mine are 1.12oal. I made these up based on a buddy who shoots production XDM with a 5.25” Barrel and he makes 130+/- so I suspect mine will be very similar. That load oit of your barrel should eaily hit 140, I would guess closer to 145.
  20. I think I’ve found my steel load for my taccom ULW with Jp SCS (3 steel weights, 1 tungsten, green spring, h11 smalley spring) 124 rn bayou 3.2gr n320 1.12 oal I ran a full steel match yesterday without any hiccups and it shot soft and flat. I also loaded up some bayou 147’s with 2.7gr but did not try it because the 124’s were fantastic!
