  1. Nope, never. I do go through the brass and pick out the head stamps that my guns/press doesn't like to eat.
  2. I don't shoot 115's anymore, but when I did that load window was what I used. If memory serves me correctly, 4.6 grains of titegroup was my sweet spot.
  3. For sure clean the gas port every time you clean. I let it go once and the headache wasn't worth it. Yes it takes extra time....
  4. Installed my DAA plate on a very old Dillon case feeder and what a difference! Much smoother operation, no upside down cases, no jams, and I run the speed on low and it keeps up perfectly. Also, I can put more brass in the hopper without it bogging down. I've got over 1000 rounds through it and couldn't be happier. For me this is a must have.
  5. got mine from the US store a year ago. Invaluable tool if you're reloading.
  6. How old is the extractor? I have the halo on mine and have no issues. Since my 22/45 gets a lot of use, I replace the extractor annually. Good Luck.
  7. SteelCityShooter said it best, your particular rifle will tell you. I take over a dozen different brands of ammo to the range with a new 22 gun to test. That being said, my particular RPR 22 prefers CCI Green Tag first, CCI Blazers second with CCI Stingers a very close third.
  8. I have a Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite as well. Tandemkross trigger and Volquartsen accurizing kit. It was quite a finicky gun when it came to ammo up until about 1000 rounds. According to a nice lady at Ruger, I was to try CCI Mini Mags and be patient through the long break in period. The Mini Mags were a nice improvement. As I put more rounds through my 22/45, CCI Blazers rock in mine and they are my go to round. After the long break in, the gun is MUCH less finicky to the ammo being used. I'd love to get another 22/45 but I don't know if I want to spend the time for the long break in! Spectacular gun though. I have way too many 22 pistols and this one is in my top few for sure.
  9. The Tandemkross Hive grip fits my medium to small hand size perfect.
  10. I shoot 145 Bayous in mixed brass in my CZ SP01. it eats all of them without issue. It does have a Cajun Gunworks upgrade to it.
  11. My Trigger Tech in my AR is the adjustable version that is quite old, maybe 7 or 8 years of age? I'm sorry I don't know it's model number. It did spend some time in my 9mm AR and it damaged it. They replaced it for no charge. I was on their web site and see that they have come out with 9mm/MPX specific triggers to tolerate the abuse that this gun throws at them. I have a Trigger Tech Diamond in my Vudoo and am putting the same trigger in a Bergara.
  12. #1 Trigger Tech, #2 Hiperfire. I have both and have shot them for years. Excellent customer service on both
  13. I too have a tender shoulder, not in need of surgery, just old. My plan is to motorize my Dillon 650. Just got my Mr Bullet Feeder and will run that as I save up for motor drive. The full blown Mark 7 system is a bit pricey and would have to learn a new press if I would go that route. Just being realistic for me. I reload mostly in the winter, pulling the handle anywhere from 50 to 100 times a day, building up my bullet inventory. My shooting is less in the freezing weather, so my inventory gets filled up and ready for spring in no time. When I go fully motorized reloading, my routine might or might not change, I'll have to play that by ear. There is still time needed to sort, clean and inspect brass. Yes lube your brass. I'm sure there is plenty of good lube available, but I've been using the Hornady stuff and it's worked wonderful for me.
  14. Super video. I needed a new training exercise for this weekend! Thank you
  15. +1 Hiperfire on MPX. Mine is two years old. No failures.
  16. I LOVE mine. Went from Colt lower to this Glock version and it transformed my gun. A few hundred rounds through it so far and not one glitch. My buddy likes it so much he's converting his Colt based PCC to this lower as well. Got it from Shooters Connection.
  17. My home build PCC (all JP internals) previously used Colt mags. With my reloads or factory ammo they would be quirky. Sometimes reliable and sometimes not. I'm picky about my reloading and my reloads are consistent and accurate. I added the extra power spring to my Colt mags and that improved things only slightly. I recently changed to a different lower that uses Glock magazines and my reliability has been 100% with long or short mags. I haven't tried any extensions yet, that will be soon. I also have a Gen 2 Sig MPX that is as reliable as an anvil. If I had to choose my MPX or my home build it would be my MPX by a mile. Just my 2 cents.
  18. While I haven't tried all 9mm bullet brands, I've tried quite a few. In my guns, Bayou's were the most consistent for me. Due to the employee/supply chain issues that many businesses are facing, you have to plan ahead if you like Bayous. I'll soon make my order that I'll expect right after the first of the year. Not a problem as I did plan ahead. They are worth the wait for me. Full disclosure, I'm not sponsored by Bayou, I'm just a satisfied customer.
  19. Has anyone successfully removed the pinned and welded comp from a Gen 2 Sig MPX and threaded the barrel end for a thread on comp?
  20. My CZ SP01 with Cajun Gunworks competition package is one of my top three favorite guns that I have. Actually a great value. I've shot Shadows and Shadow 2's and truthfully they shot the same as my gun. I did the install of the Cajun Gunworks package myself. Not the easiest job in the world, but doable. Converted to single action too. Cajun Gunworks customer service is excellent as well. My buddy who is a Glock Fan Boy shot it and said "this is cheating" it was so good. Good luck with your decision.
  21. I'm not one to whine or complain, but since it can be done with a reasonable amount of anonymity... my last two years: carpel tunnel, trigger thumb, carpel tunnel on other hand, open heart surgery, plantar faciiatis, 8mm kidney stone blast, and then to top it off: a broken foot. I'm getting older, so I understand that my competitive years are quickly dwindling. I do hope to be pissing off the youngsters for another year or two. I'm back at practicing hard to that end. I haven't got myself on a timer just yet, but based on practice, my previous speed is not there. When I get back to pistol matches, I'll evaluate my skill sets. If they are not up to what I feel is a reasonable standard, I'll focus on PRS to feed my competitive spirit. I can also offer value in helping teach at my local club. Teaching has been extremely satisfying. Seeing a student's groups get smaller and their speed increase puts a huge smile on my face, almost as big as theirs. To all of you who are suffering health issues: take the set back as a challenge and feed off of it. Never ever give up. I wish you all improved health.
