I am wondering if a pistol with a decocker type safety is legal in the competition world of IDPA, USPSA etc. Thanks Tim
-
You need to add: "Not a damn thing in your area" The closest IDPA shoot is about 200 miles away. Tim

Do you do as they tell you, like I do Tim

I am wondering what people are using for a rifle & shot gun. I am looking to get equipped for 3 gun and wonder what everyone else is using. Thanks Tim

I watched the coverage of the IDPA winter championships on Shooting USA yesterday and noticed something not right. I thought that IDPA required that competitors wear something to conceal the firearm. yet 90% of the shooters featured did not. I know that the COF may require not using one but this was in different stages. What is it if you are a popular enough shooter you don't have to follow the rules??? Tim

No adjustment screw and not sure if it is Kydex. It is not labels such but It is a Nylok Tim

I just picked up a safariland nylok holster for my p-95. It seems that It needs to be fitted to the gun as it will only go about 80% into the holster. it won't go down far enough to get the gun snapped in. What is the best way to fit the holster to the gun??? Thanks Tim

Being that all my current guns are single action I am looking for an automatic for a carry gun. I have seen the PA-63s 9mmx18s for a decent price. Does anyone have thoughts or opinions on these autos. since I am going to order a SKS I can order one of these at the same time( save paper work) Thanks Tim

Seems like the Rock island is a good gun for the price. I may look into getting one. thanks for the write up Tim

I have a couple questions about equipment used for 3 gun. In Rifle can you use the magizine connectors( forget the accual name) piece that connects two mags together? I now the rules frown upon military type clothing(unless military/LE) but is military gear alright, IE web belt, LEB/LEV, mag pouches, Etc alright to use? thanks Tim
-
IF memory serves me, Alice equipment can be had in most any config. encluding rifle, pistol mag holders, holsters, etc. simalure to the mollie system. Tim

Thinking Of Getting Into 3 Gun What Do I Need?
XAFSP replied to XAFSP's topic in Multi-gun Gear & Accessories
MMMM I think it would be a little hard to shoot nekked. You at least need sneakers. Tim -
After getting into SASS I thought I would also modernize and look into 3 gun. What would I need? Beginner stuff. pistol: .40 S&W, 9mm, or 45? I asume only one( easier to reaload an auto than a single action ) rifle: Will be AR-15 ( I flew an M-16 for 8+years in the service) Which brand is better? personal preferance. scoped or not? Barrel length? Shotgun: pump or auto? 12gauge I assume, barrel length, LE style or ??? Where can I get the rules??? is it USPSA or????? Thanks Tim
