  7. I realize that i could go to the respective web sites to find events. But even then some events are not sanctioned. or you want to check out other events or gun shows. Is there a place on this wide web that lists events regardless of who sanctions them. Tim
  8. I watched the coverage of the IDPA winter championships on Shooting USA yesterday and noticed something not right. I thought that IDPA required that competitors wear something to conceal the firearm. yet 90% of the shooters featured did not. I know that the COF may require not using one but this was in different stages. What is it if you are a popular enough shooter you don't have to follow the rules??? Tim

  10. I just picked up a safariland nylok holster for my p-95. It seems that It needs to be fitted to the gun as it will only go about 80% into the holster. it won't go down far enough to get the gun snapped in. What is the best way to fit the holster to the gun??? Thanks Tim
  11. I am looking to get my gear together and wonder what is a legal belt to use for compitition. Is an outerbelt( worn over your regular belt) or one that replaces your belt. help a newbie out. Tim

  17. I do cowboy action now. But am thinking of getting into revolver class in practical pistol. What guns are good the start out with,? What BBl length? What would be the best caliber, for CAS I use 38/357 is it OK to use or should I go bigger??? What gear would I need?? Thanks Tim
  18. Being that all my current guns are single action I am looking for an automatic for a carry gun. I have seen the PA-63s 9mmx18s for a decent price. Does anyone have thoughts or opinions on these autos. since I am going to order a SKS I can order one of these at the same time( save paper work) Thanks Tim

  20. I have a couple questions about equipment used for 3 gun. In Rifle can you use the magizine connectors( forget the accual name) piece that connects two mags together? I now the rules frown upon military type clothing(unless military/LE) but is military gear alright, IE web belt, LEB/LEV, mag pouches, Etc alright to use? thanks Tim
  21. IF memory serves me, Alice equipment can be had in most any config. encluding rifle, pistol mag holders, holsters, etc. simalure to the mollie system. Tim

  25. After getting into SASS I thought I would also modernize and look into 3 gun. What would I need? Beginner stuff. pistol: .40 S&W, 9mm, or 45? I asume only one( easier to reaload an auto than a single action ) rifle: Will be AR-15 ( I flew an M-16 for 8+years in the service) Which brand is better? personal preferance. scoped or not? Barrel length? Shotgun: pump or auto? 12gauge I assume, barrel length, LE style or ??? Where can I get the rules??? is it USPSA or????? Thanks Tim
