  1. The NRA had range insurance that was reasonable, based upon number of members. I suspect they still provide it, but not sure.
  2. But why does that need to be done? CO seems to be a big hit, why do you want to screw with it?
  3. Just wondering. Used to be, before pasters, we just used tan tape. Any club still do that?
  4. Left index finger works better. Advantage over righties. Why would you make it less efficient?
  5. I have shot in NM, AZ, CO, OK, and TX and you always got your brass back. “Tapers, steel setters and brass pickers”. You had to be one of them. I reloaded the same brass 7, 8 times. Moved to Florida 10 years ago. Then and now all matches are a “lost brass” match. Yup, had a name for those anomalies. I don’t think this is a thing of the past, rather where you are.
  6. Just to throw some gas on the fire…. A gun with a slide racker can only be laid flat if the racker is up. Racker down would be a prop and not flat. And… I suppose there is a rule somewhere addressing this.
  7. I have yet to see anything in USPSA be “provisional”. Once it gets started, there is no going back.
  8. I have not heard of a detonation during a flip and catch, but I do know of two where the shooter was doing a normal unload, but had his hand cupped over the ejection port when racking the slide. The idea being not to let the round hit the ground. I cringe when I see someone do this. This is known issue that has been around for as long as I can recall.
  9. Ammoseek.com and shootingbot.com will do the searching for you in these trying times. Alliant sport pistol and n320 are both available today. https://www.natchezss.com/alliant-powder-sport-pistol-handgun-powder-8-lbs.html 8 pounds, $275 plus shipping, hazmat.
  10. 9 cents for bullet, 9 for primer, 4 for used brass, 4 for N320. Call it .25 per round in 40, but just estimates. However, you get it the way you want it.
  11. Answered myself. https://www.gjsentinel.com/news/western_colorado/shooting-contest-pulls-out-of-cameo-over-magazine-ban/article_274576bc-f1b2-11ec-917e-8325cbf10ee7.html
  12. What was the reason for the move? I guess I missed something.
  13. I have never experienced that on my 650. The spring broke once in what is now 160k rounds.
  14. Ammoseek.com You can find Ginex primers under 9 cents delivered. KrArmory.com includes free shipping and hazmat. I just got some, fast shipping, no hassle.
  15. DQ’d a very new shooter for exactly that years ago. Folks were still downrange resetting. I felt bad for him. I bet we have neither forgot it.
  16. The last time this discussion came up it went on for about 48 pages. We’ll see.
  17. Well, that’s no fun. I come here for the drama.
  18. I use reading glasses to shoot limited. Front sight focus is all that is needed. Besides, sights are overrated anyway. Most of our game really requires littles accurate sighting. I think most of you know what I mean. I shoot Limited. Only limited. Almost 70. Don’t need no stinkin’ optic!
  19. Alphexfirearms is another. Sure, they have that sport pistol powder! Zelle only.
  20. Dumb as sh?t ideas. Have you nothing better to do than think up stupid crap for people to argue about? That's the intent, right? Just argue?
