  1. Yeah mine only does it with the CCI #41 primers….strange. How often does yours do it per 100 primers? Mine is once or twice per 100
  2. I would love to know what you find, my press started doing this exact same thing yesterday. Loading .223 with cci #41 primers. Just loaded a few thousand pistol rounds never an issue. Switched to rifle and it popped up. Then I tried a 100 rounds with standard #400 rifle primers, smooth as silk. Back to the mil spec primers and it did it twice in the next 100. What were you loading?
  3. Hornady makes a nice digital scale for about 65 bucks. Joe is also correct about Titegroup, it is very heavy for its volume so it doesn’t take a big difference in volume to make a big change in weight.
  4. Is it new? Mine did the same when new with 40 s/w that block should be fully lowered for pistol brass. Mine came in the raised position, it has two, lowered for pistol raised for rifle.
  5. Also take some brand new factory ammo and measure it. Some brands will shock you!
  6. After rereading the thread I see your issue is definitely at the priming station. 1. I would set up the sewage rod to remove crimps, if there isn’t a crimp no Harm no foul. 2. Measure the height of your primers vs the depth of the primer pocket. 3. Did this start with a new batch of primers as you said it has been fine until recently so something changed.
  7. I am not familiar with the 1100, but I would eliminate different systems that could cause it. Can you remove the primer punch and run some cases through without powder to see if it is the punch that is throwing it out of alignment? That would rule that part of the setup out.
  8. I have a first gen M&P in 40 and was wondering if/does Smith and Wesson have a round count recommendation for barrel replacement? Or how about the community when do you, if you do ? Thanks in advance
  9. Has anyone used the CCi 400 small rifle primers in ammo that was used in an A.R. platform? I know they want you to use the number 41 military primers as they have a harder cup to prevent slam fires. I used them when I first started reloading but not in any volume. Never had issues but wanted to know peoples thoughts . Thanks
  10. If your reaching out to 400 you will want a heavier bullet that a 55 as it will stay more stable and be much more accurate at longer ranges than a 55 will especially with a 1/7 twist barrel which is pretty much the standard now.
  11. I bet it is, I consistently get +/- .1 Like Dillon said keep a consistent amountof 2/3 to 3/4 of powder in the hopper.
  12. You will love the UFO light kit. Multiple led’s, attaches via adhesive backing to the press around the perimeter of the tool head opening. Floods the entire area with tons of light.
  13. Chuck that baby up in a drill and polish with some Emory cloth to clean/smooth/ slightly make smaller.
  14. Hawk, Setting up a new 750 and literally received my powder check today. It has 3 rods with the kit. Here is the sheet that tells what calibers go with which rod.
  15. I honestly don’t remember ever having one fail the case gauge. Probably done 10 k 40 cal. Nowadays I only randomly check 10 per 100
  16. Yep those are the 2 reasons for the upgrade the case feeder as well as the auto index. Oh and the 5 th station for a powder check
  17. Ready to upgrade my 550 to a 750. Does Dillon ever have sales? And if so typically when?
  18. Precision Delta is the best I’ve found .05 per
  19. Braxton, thanks never ran into this marking before. And no worries I have a swagger. Thanks again
