  1. Looks like I need to get a few more mags based on some peoples' responses here.
  2. Was going to suggest this, but Tapatalk wouldn't let me post from my phone. Squirreldaddy makes some good ones. They are harder, don't bend as easily, and an added bonus of the primers not sticking to them and getting sucked back up. I was having all kinds of issues when setting up my PW Drive 650 to process brass. These pins were my answer.
  3. Probably only on resale. I think they work the same. Well that's my concern. I think that the function might be close but the Miculek w/ it's higher cut first port might vent gases upward, keeping the muzzle flatter. Just want to see if anyone has compared the function of them before I weld one on the end of my barrel.
  4. Me too. Same error, same result. Can still browse and read forums, just not post. Same here. Thought it was only me.
  5. Not sure I understand what you mean by high port.
  6. I came across this muzzle brake on Cabela's site. So I'm curious if anyone has run one and what the impressions are? It looks very similar to the Miculek, just with a crush washer instead of a jam nut. http://www.cabelas.com/product/MIDWEST-INDUSTRIES-MUZZLE-BRAKE/2008807.uts?searchPath=%2Fbrowse.cmd%3FcategoryId%3D734095080%26CQ_search%3Dar%2Bmuzzle%2Bbrake%26CQ_st%3Db I'd like to put a Miculek on my current build, but I have a gift card to Cabela's so I figured I could save some coin. Also, being in NJ, this is a semi-permanent decision as the muzzle device has to be permanently attached. Let me know if anyone has run one.
  7. Any issues/concerns w/ crushed primers? Or do you swage all of your cases as part of prep?
  8. It has nothing to do w/ anti-gunners. The security certificate of this site is probably out of date or not signed. Easy fix
  9. Interested in this as well Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  10. You laugh but I have security cam footage of my delivery guy doing just that.
  11. Holding the control key while scrolling w/ the mouse wheel changes the zoom in your browser window. Like someone said above ctrl-0 resets the zoom to default.
  12. You can definitely build one for under $500. Parts from my last build: http://ballisticadvantage.com/16-inch-556-hanson-mid-cmv-performance-barrel.html $230 w/ gas block Gas tube - $15 DPMS Comp - $40 Anderson slick side upper - $50 Guntec 12" slim m-lok handguard - $80 PSA BCG - $90 Total = $505 Of course you can change the regular gas block to an adjustable one and change the mil-spec carrier to a lightweight one. But this build will get you in the game.
  13. There should be a way to escape out the search operand. Usually it's by using either a \ or '. Not sure on how your particular server is set up.
  14. For the Lee universal die, I replaced the decapping rod with a Squirreldaddy one from Ebay. Works much better. Not sure you can do that with the Hornady though.
  15. Is your timer sensitive enough to pick up dry fire?
  16. My guess is they're too long and might need to be trimmed. Do you have a magwell on there?
  17. Been using a 50c funnel from Wally world for years now. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
  18. I have mixed reviews on Hornady's customer service. I guess it depends on who answers the phone when I call. I've had some people who were extremely helpful and willing to help me with issues I was having with the LnL. Others were much less inclined to send parts - as if they were coming out of their own paycheck.
  19. I've never cleaned the inside of any of my powder measures. I dump the unused powder out when I'm done using them and put it away.
  20. On the Hornady dies, you can adjust the seating stem without adjusting the crimp.... What happens when you change the crimp?Fair point. I usually only change oal after I have the crimp where I like it. Sent from my Z812 using Tapatalk
