Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. "Great big what beaters?" I don't get it. What does that mean? I went to 30 sec and nothing. At 30 min I did notivmce the guy speaking has bannana hands.
  2. Wolffy1876: I got your pic, thanks. The gun looks real good. So, looks like I would need a new holster to use the frame weight. I cant buy a 200 holster and the frame weight all in one go. I would first get the holster. Since uspsa allows the frame weight for limited would a weapon light be legal in place of the frame weight until I can spend the 90 for the weight?
  3. Would it be against forum rules if i pm you my number or email so i could get the pic?
  4. Makes sense but much easier said than done. I have enough trouble just remember the order i want to shoot my targets in. I usually go in with a good game plan but then the buzzer goes off and it becomes a free for all.
  5. I hadnt paid much attention to this until recently but what should my eyes be focusing on? I kinda feel as if when i focus on the target and the sights are slightly blurry I can move from target to target more smoothly and faster but when I focus on my sights and the target is a little blurry i feel more secure about my shots but movement from target to target seems more jerky or delayed somehow. Would yoh guys please share your thoughts on this? Thanks
  6. Dogtired: That is a very clever idea thanks for sharing. I will try that tomorrow. I have heard that there is a thumb rest for it. However the pics on the sjc website dont show it. Is the block supposed to me tapped and drilled to add the thumb rest?
  7. wolffy1876 Would you be so nice as to upload a pic of your setup.also what holster are you using for it? Thanks!
  8. Ive been wanting to get into limited. I currently shoot an m&p 9 pro. Not wanting to be left in the dust by the heavy all metal $$$ guns, im wanting to look into all add ons to make the m&p pro .40 more competitive in limited.
  9. Actually yes, I did mean the SJC frame weight. Anyone have a review or a pic on an m&p?
  10. Has anyone used one of these? Ive been looking for a pic but even their website doesnt have one. They have a glock pictured.
  11. I saw a post about a frame weight for the S&W m&p pro. Can that be used in limited?
  12. I have a couple of questions: I have been shooting an m&p pro in 9mm. The gun fits my hand well. I have short fingers. I have started shooting in limited and the minor power factor is killing me. I need to go to a .40. I would have liked a double stack 1911 for the extra weight but i can't afford those $2000 guns. Ive looked at the sigs p226 but the double action first pull is too far forward for a proper grip. What other options are there for a heavy frame .40 for short fingers that is around maybe 600 max?
  13. Sorry everyone. Pretty new at this, didnt mean to quote the above. I only found out I quoted it as I kept teading through the posts and reached the bottom and sae my name and the quote. Also, I tried to erase it but couldn't figure out how so instead i edited with the apology above.
