Have not heard of Austin Rifle Club. Will have to check it out. There are several clubs that shoot out of a range called Cedar Ridge. It is a good bit away from the city though.

I am most interested in USPA IPSC IDPA. Not so much bullseye shooting though.

Hello Everyone, Name is Bill (from Austin), just getting into competitive shooting. Spent 12 years in the Marines, all of my shooting up until recently was centered around Marine Corps TTP'S. Wanting to try out any and all types of competitive shooting. Currently own a XDM 5.25 9mm (with springer trigger kit) and a standard M&P in .40 (with apex FSS and trigger) a s&w PC 1911, and a SIG p226 TACOPS. Look forward to reading what all has been posted here. Seems likes lots of good knowledge here waiting to be had. Bill
