Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Sounds like it needed to be shot... Ha I've shot 2
  2. I like locked wrist not elbows.
  3. Several guys that I shoot with use TG in their 40. They have ran thousands of rounds without blowing anything up.....
  4. Have used the small plate with the over 20K 40 with no problems.
  5. 5 out of 100. This is bs! I don't see a cone, crimp, hole or anything else out of the ordinary. All different head stamps. Pin is not bent or broken. Should I just go back to Lee decapper or what?
  6. If steel is in your first array do you draw and engage it first? I've had several people tell me not to draw on steel...
  7. I'm having exactly the same problem. Just switched back to 9mm with Dillon dies after loading 20K 40 with Lee dies. 4-5 per thousand won't push out. All different head stamps and don't appear to be crimped primers. The other issue I'm having is primers not wanting to go into the case on the up stroke. At least half the time I have to let off and try again or rotate the case in the shell plate to get the primer seated. Any help appreciated. Don't remember 9mm being this much of a PITA....
  8. We use 3/4 square tubing for the frames/legs and have the pipe/flat stock feet like pictured above. They work well and can add ports with plywood to give several options. At Old Fort GC they use wooden poles with the feet attached and hang pvc framed panels on S hooks at the top of the poles. Quick and light weight!
  9. Ran an entire 3 gun stage without ear protection prior to knowing the rules and not realizing how bad it would be.
  10. There is a lot of recognition that some folks haven't been dq'd yet though . I wonder if there are any big name shooters out there who never had to quit early? I can't imagine anyone that competes frequently not making the list. Accidents/mistakes are going to happen.
