Okay, let me know how that works out for you!

Actually it’s very possible that the follower is hitting the slide stop with one round still left in the magazine and causing the slide to lock back. It’s so common that if you google “slide locks back with one round in mag”, you’ll see a thread from this site from 2008 explaining why this happens. It’s due to the follower design (grams). You can go to bazos custom and find the solution or click the link I provided. I had the same issue with my prodigy when I first got the gun and atlas mags, ended up getting the competition followers for my mags.

I would like to clean the grips of my Prodigy with something safe that won't harm the grips. My dry skin appears to be embedding into the grip texture. Can someone recommend a cleaner for the grips? I'll use a nylon brush.

I’ve always had good luck using warm water with dish soap and a toothbrush. That’s how I’ve been cleaning my grips on all my guns

  3. After using a green dot for the last 6 months or so I’m getting ready to go back to a red dot, it seems for me that steel at distance against dirt or slight foliage is hard to pick up the green dot, the red is easier for me to see at distance.

  4. Had the same issue on one of my prodigy’s but with the Brazos Pro Tuned trigger kit, would get the occasional hammer follow when trying to go really fast. The trigger pull was about 1.5lbs, called Bob at Brazos and he informed that the trigger pull was probably to light and should be set around 2.5lbs, I bent the left sear spring leg, set the trigger to just over 2lb. Now have close to 1k down range since and no more intermittent hammer follow.

Do you have any issues with light strikes with this combo? ive been having issues shooting supervel with this combo as well as the rami extended firing pin and there spring

No, but I only use federal primers in my cz’s, I believe supervel uses harder primers, I have a friend that has to use a 13lb ms with his supervel ammo, he gets light strikes with an 11.5lb spring. But he’s also using an SP01.

  6. My favorite set up is the czc comp hammer with the Cajun T6 hybrid disco, along with a 10lb czc main spring. Along with a bunch of polishing the trigger is much improved over stock.

  7. Thinking of adding a Magwell to my P320 X5 legion to dabble in LO and was wondering what Magwell would work with factory 17rd mags with Henning +6 extensions. Most of the options I see state that the 21 rounders must be used, just wondering if anyone has had any luck with other magwells.

Have you guys tried practicing? That seems to help more than constantly changing parts

Or it could be that guns and grips aren’t a one size fits all and it does take trying grips to find the ones that work best. I see in you gun pic you’re not using factory grips so you’ve had to try out grips as well.

  9. When I was shooting my SP01 Bull shadow I went with the SSI 4.0’s with brass inserts, really helped to balance the gun out. I tried so many different grips over the years to get that perfect feel and the SSI’s were the best I tried. Had multiple sets of Loks, the armanovs, Vytal mfg and Hennings. I pretty sure I spent as much in grips as I did to buy and build out the gun.

Idk if it’s my eyes or what but the 8moa circle and dot combo just looks like a dot to me. I have the green model so not sure if that has anything do to with it or the fact that the dot is SUPER Bright but that’s been my first glance experience so far. I really like it overall. Time will tell.

Mine looks the same, just one big dot. Doesn’t bother me at all, the green is so much brighter than the red it’s much easier for me to see and doesn’t wash out like the red does.

can you post a photo?  Interested in seeing how much modification it takes.

Didn’t take much, used a dremel with a cut off wheel and tape to keep the line straight. I don’t have a pic with Odin anymore.

  12. When I used the Odin thumb rest I used a DAA Max holster and modified it to work with the thumb rest, I was not able to find any holster that would work with it and the Henning hanger. I really like the max holster and still use it.
