  1. Hi Vigilante, I hope you'll feel better to know that you're not alone. hehehe!!! It just sucks to know that some people that ordered later than me got their belts ahead of me.
  2. I ordered mine on October 2012, and I have yet to receive the belt. At first they were responding to my emails, but starting around March of this year, they have refused to answer any of my queries. I've emailed them and left messages in their website. I think the person I emailed is named Ben. Does anyone know if they are still taking orders? I just want some closure. If they emailed me and told me that they won't be sending me my belt, I'm totally okay with it. I just don't like being ignored. It is as if they are waiting for ME to cancel the order and relieve them of the responsibility. Why can't they email me and tell me they can't deliver?
  3. Hi guys! Would you guys know what "software" they use in the World Shoot and Austral Asia COF booklet they hand out to participants? They look really similar and I assume it's from one source. I've tried stagebuilder but the one printed in the World Shoot match booklets mentioned above offer better details with perspective and shadows. If you can share it with me, that would be awesome. Thank you very much in advance!
  4. I'm thinking if I should do the same (cancel) or just let it play out. I ordered last Oct 2012 and so far no belt. I did get some email replies, but mostly I felt they were only stalling and not really doing much about the situation. What a waste of a good product.
  5. I did email them around January and got a reply. However my next couple of emails in Feb and March were not replied for whatever reasons. I thought they were the only vendor selling this unique design? I just want to try this particular design and see if it works well.
  6. I ordered mine last October 2012.....still waiting
  7. I'm a very satisfied Slide Guide user, heck, I even use it on my door hinges
  8. I currently have two STi EDGE in 40 and I can only say good things about them. I shoot matches every weekend, and 1 practice day per week. Of course it's not 100% stock, I've changed out the trigger to an SV with Enos insert, Koenig Hammer and a trigger job. They have been really reliable thus far. Most of my jams are usually ammo related and it is very rare. I estimate a jam every 2K to 3K rounds or so, and usually its ammo that did not fit the gauge getting mixed with my match ammo. Heck even those that doesn't fit the gauge goes boom 99% of the time. I can't really say that I was short changed by STi as I didn't experience anything wrong with my 2 pistols. Based from my experience, I wouldn't hesitate recommending an STi to anyone that plans to shoot competitively.
  9. Hey thanks so much for the advice Pathfinder. However, I'm leaning on just getting another pair of Dillon from Brian's store. I think durability is lot more important for me than extreme performance. My old pair has lasted 5 solid years, so at least I know I can expect another 5 solid years from the new one. Also it's a way to support Brian and this forum
  10. Any other info on the llife expectancy of the Sordins? I have been using Dillon HP1 for the last 5 yrs and they have been really reliable. However the plastic parts are slowly breaking apart and it won't be long before I would have to replace the Dillon. That's really too bad since the electronics are still working, but the bands are coming apart. I've narrowed down my choices to getting another pair of Dillion or trying out the Sordins. My main concern with the Sordin is durability. I know it has 5 yrs warranty, but I'm not based in the US, so it would be a hassle to send the Sordins back if they do break. Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much guys!
  11. So which store has the Guga Ribas holster on stock??? They are kinda hard to find. Great tip for those mechanically inclined. My Guga is working perfectly and I'd rather not touch it.
  12. Hi Guys just a question for us that shoot IPSC. The sight looks a little thick (vertically) compared to the Bomars. Of course, all I have are the pics posted to compare. So are they thicker?
  13. I've watched Band of Brothers twice! Awesome series! I actually felt cold watching when they got to Bastogne. Also, after watching that series, I now want a Luger
  14. I see "atoms"(for a lack of a better term) zipping in different directions....I'm not sure what I'm seeing though Could it be that my my eyes are "seeing" the impulse of my blood zipping by the tiny veins in my eyes?
  15. Guga Ribas are rock solid! Rene of SpeedShooters used to carry them. I think they are harder to find now. I love mine. You can even remove the individual pouches from the belt without removing the screws. Wish Rene would carry them again
  16. My loads are at around 176-177 pf, precisely in order to avoid "low" reading chronos in different matches. That's just too bad for Matt and Phil.
  17. How about a Race Master? I don't shoot a Glock, but I do have a Race Master for my STi and they have been very secure and adjustable. Try to find someone that has one so that you can check them out first hand before you decide on what you want. Good luck on your search!
  18. I'm curios as to how your Star looks like, would it be possible for you to take a picture?
  19. I think he clipped a car at around 5:15....
  20. I'm also thinking of building a sight tracker. Just wanted an update on this if it's not too much trouble. Did the gun experience any more problems after it was fixe/repaired the second time?
  21. I love Slide Glide so much, I use them on my door hinges I use them on anything that needs grease around the house too.
  22. Where is the best place to get MSAs? Any suggestions?
  23. Any other sites that I can watch the show at? Hulu can only be accessed if you are in the US. Sounds like an interesting show
  24. I know someone who got DQd in the World Shoot in Bali on his first stage, on his first draw! According to him he was so nervous that the muzzle of his gun somehow caught the pocket of his shorts at the draw (worst things could have happened) and the gun flew from his hands. Poor guy. He wasn't even able to fire a shot. I think getting DQd have positive effects. It reminds us to be more conscious of shooting safely.
