On my journey, I too, have settled on the lighter bullets. I’ve been using 124, but I think I’m gonna try out some 115’s. I handled a steel frame Staccato P with an aluminum grip this week and it felt fantastic. When you say that the grips eventually crack, are you thinking 20 or 30,000 rounds?

you’ll be hard-pressed to find better people than the Lim family. I would just be a little persistent in reaching out to them and they can talk to you about this specific gun and what they have done to it during service and things.

For 2011 limited optics…I would like to hear experience related opinions on the pros and cons of each and what feels best and returns to zero better for you. The more I shoot the more I lean towards a slightly snappier faster to return gun over a super heavy slower to cycle slide/gun combo.

I’m using both the FTP and the 507 comp. So far so good.

You need to find out more info. Hbar means a tungsten sleeved barrel. Also find out if it has the turbo comp.

My buddy came over yesterday and I got to see and hold his TS2. First time seeing the new version. Pretty fantastic! He is getting Scott to cut it for LO. It will be a beast. Fit and finish was great the checkering was very good. I liked it and am sure it will be a very good LO host.

They work well. I have them on a few slide mounted guns. So far so good. Just running the single dot.

SSI sells a tungsten guide rod for CZ. I wonder if with that installed a regular short dust cover Shadow would shoot like more like a Bull Shadow.

If you look at how the A01 limited has nearly doubled in the last two or three years…maybe we don’t want to know the price of the open A01. It sure looks cool though and they make great stuff.

Did anyone else see the pictures of the 9mm major A01 open build soon to be released? I have always thought that platform would make a great major blaster. Extended shielded safeties, magwell, single action trigger, aggressive grips, square trigger guard, etc. Not sure there is a viable 170mm magazine option yet. The barrel and comp are all one piece I believe. Will be interesting to see how it plays out. With current costs it will easily be 5K+ I am guessing.

Stuart with CZC shared some pictures with me of the larger optics direct milled to a slide. They stick out some but I do not know if they would snag. I have always used plates which tend to have a beveled or angled edge to prevent that. What did you decide to go with?

There is a risk vs reward when we start pushing the limits. I am just going with 23+1 mags.
