  1. Correct, Blued or Chromed. MSRP of the blued Steel Master was $3048 when it came out, Chrome was $500 more, I bought my Chromed Steel Master new (which I love) for a little over $3000 in 2012. Take a look at this Enos ad from March for a blued Steel Master. A quick search on the web shows that $2600-$2700 is NIB listed price for the blued (of course no one has one in stock, so take that with a grain of salt) , check grabagun.com, whichgun.com, armslist.com. I would say the $2500 for a used chromed is not out of the question, the thing to do since this is local to you, check it out in person, offer him $2000 and see what he counters at.
  2. Very helpful, thanks. The obvious next question is Elite Limited or Hunter? I suppose if I were to ever shoot USPSA Limited, I could get a .40 cal barrel for the Elite Limited, the hunter would probably just be a range toy.
  3. That is cheating sarge, as my wife tells me, men never read the manual. We needed to discuss this to death and call Ruger before finding out the reason. Mine does not have that rattle since it has a Zev like trigger installed. I like my Ruger LCP though.
  4. Buy another?, do you have one now, if so, which one? I do like the Stock 3, just wondering about the action. There has to be some internals that are different between the Elite Limited and the the Stock 3. The safety looks different, triggers is a little different. Thinking that heavier looking front end of the stock 3 would be nice with the 10mm cartridge.
  5. Sorry 9x45, I read the title "Glock 17 vs. 34" and jumped in.
  6. That is great info, thanks. I like the looks of the Stock III but wanted any nicer options that the Elite Limited might have and I did not know about changing the uppers. I was thinking about an Elite Limited 10mm and a Stock III .40. I will have to check into the prices of the uppers.
  7. Keep forgetting to think USPSA. I just like options and it works well in 3Gun.
  8. I am a Glock guy with a G20 (10mm) and love it, but I have seen and shot some nice Tanfoglios in 40 and was thinking about getting a Tanfoglio in 10mm but I am a little confused about the models, other than the price and some of the looks, are the Elite Limited guns that much better than the Hunter or the Pro? There are some obvious trigger differences, just not sure if I can go with the Hunter and happy with the action. I like the Custom and Special models, but that is getting into the STI Perfect 10 price range.
  9. Since we are talking barrels, I have never shot for groups with my Wolf, what are peoples experience with them vs KKM?
  10. I think this is has been answered well, already but my vote is G35 and get a 9mm aftermarket barrel, than you have a nice 40 option! And I am not just saying that because its what I did.
  11. I have seen a broken Zev before, but that was shot by a instructor, so lots of bullets down range, for the rest of us, I think it will be fine. I have been using small rifle primers because I found them before small pistol and have not had any problems.
  12. I like them and used to use them, but shooting more jacketed bullets that I buy in bulk, but would go back to them in a second, cost seems to very and is going up.
  13. Nothing knew to add, they the others that mentioned to go standard are right. I had one and removed it.

Nice job, all I have done with mine is add the Zev trigger and a fiber front sight. I need to add a magwell, any suggestions?
  15. Hey, has anyone shot the Tanfo 10mm and the Glock 20? Curious about side by side comparison.
  16. Shooting G24, G35, G37 most of the time. I have a 9mm barrel for the G35 and use that for 3Gun shooting. I did buy a G41 but actually have not shot it yet. Dropped a Zev trigger in the G35 and added fiber. Also have a G31, I like the 357 SIG round.
  17. Thanks, I have not used Clays before. Will give that a try.
  18. Thought I would see if there were any G37 experts around here. Done the general reloads, looking for whats beyond that.
  19. Hello from fellow new guy. What do you shoot?
  20. Hello from another new guy, what do you shoot? I am a Glock guy for the most part, but have a few Vaqueros as well.
  21. New guy here, just checking this forum out. Computer guy at heart but love to shoot, would rather go to the range than go hunting, more trigger pulls.
  22. Has anyone tried the new Glock 10mm. I am looking at a STI 10mm or a Tang 10mm, would like some thoughts on either.
  23. Old post but thought I would ping you about your G37. I have also dusted off the gun and want to shoot it again. I bought one just to shoot at a Glock shoot and try to win another gun. Did not work, but I did loan it to a buddy who was going to another state to shoot a match and back then you got an extra chance at winning something and he did with my gun. Did he give me anything, NO, not even a T-Shirt. I bought 500 cases from Starline, so thought it was time to put them to use.
