Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I agree with leave the 5 on. It doesn't hurt. You never know when you have a course of fire where you need 4 mags and then one takes a dump and you need that fifth mag. If you can control the outcome and mitigate a s#!t show why not. What does it hurt. If you are running a short course of fire just carry 3-4 mags for that. 32 round course run all 5. Good question though, I like that you are thinking.
  2. One of my favorite holsters for USPSA production.
  3. Posted a video that considers stage planning and movement techniques. Hope this offers some useful insights.
  4. I posted a video for table starts and I cover when you need to stuff one to multiple magazines at the start. I hope everyone finds this information useful. Cheers!
  5. I just sent one of my Shadow 2s off to Primary Machining. Their delivery times are not the best but I have heard from reliable shooters that their work is great. I rather wait then have to play the gunsmith game sending poorly done milling back. I think Primary Machining focuses a lot on S2s and has it down as well. Also, they sell slides direct but you may have to fit it to your lower. I will post pics later.
  6. Im not a big fan of cutting springs. I would try an 11.5 first from Cajun. The life of the spring will likely last longer, 11.5 will still set of primers reliably, and you can change them out with quick repeatability especially if you get a more S2s in the future. Also, I would just leave the factory sear springs. overall the gun springs will break in over a few thousand and you will enjoy it.
  7. My experience is the delta is a bit light for primers and I prefer the Titian. Both have the pins cut similarly for good take up and return results.
