I'm new to all of, I got a Para 16.40 limited a while back, and it didn't come with any magazines. A friend let me borrow a STI magazine and it worked fine. So while I was looking those up, I ran across Sps magazines. It says they are compatible with Para, so I was wondering if anyone with a Para has tried them out.

How much did he charge to cut your slide?

I'm still debating on which I want. But I haven't heard anything bad about the H&k. But no one around here has one I can go shoot and see if I like it or not.

I've been trying to figure out what new 9mm I want to get. I've been going back and forth between a Sig P226 Scorpion, or an H&k P30. I've just about decided on the H&k, but I was looking at how far the hammer comes back and being their is no Beaver tale, it seems like you'd constantly get hammer bite. If anyone has an H&k, maybe you could enlighten me. Thanks for any responses.

I've seen these type of barrels, but I haven't seen a name of them if their is one. The barrels that have the raised sections on the end the slide has to be cut to fit around, I'm guess the raised section is for it to be ported, or add weight I guess. Can someone please tell me the name of them? Thanks

I've been reading the reloading forum alot lately, I'm still trying to get all of my reloading supplies set up, so it'll still be a little while before I start.

I bought one not to long ago in 9mm, I love it. I plan on purchasing one of their 2011's next. Hopefully I'll have good luck with it.

I've tried the mag guide on 2 1911's, I can't tell if it's bent or it needs to be filed down a little.

I purchased a Smith and Alexander Mag guide, when I went to install it on my pistol, the mag guide has a gap between it and the frame. It looks like the mag guide is pointing at a downward angle compared to the frame. I'm no gunsmith, I do know how to completely strip it down. I just wanted to see if anyone has this problem and make sure it isn't something simple I could do to fix to before I took it to a gunsmith.
