Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Note, please: there's a big difference between Berrys HBR(ound)N(ose)- HP & their HBF(lat)N(ose)-HP... The OAL of 1.150" suggested for the Round Nose takes into consideration... The ROUND (POINTY) NOSE! Loading the FLAT NOSE to the approximate same OAL as other typical 9mm 124 or 125 gr FLAT NOSE or JHP'S @ 1.060" (+ or -) will give excellent results. This is a great bullet for 357 SIG target work as well.
  2. OUTSTANDING! Thanks, so much, for that info: basically corresponds to what I had imagined as starting loads for WIN 231, AutoComp & 800-X. Don't see much lead data for this weight in 40 S&W. p.s. Plated 200GR RNFP on sale (-5%) + FREE SHIPPING @ one of the "usual suspects", ends TODAY. Looks to be a good load for punching paper, IMHO. Thanks, again!
  3. I'd like to add my $0.02 as well.... THANKS! p.s. I know what "they say" about "load info on the Internet" but these numbers just so closely confirmed what info I had developed (gleaned?) that I now know where to go if I happen to pick up a new bullet or powder. THANKS, again!
