  1. This requires changing gears in thought. Certainly not my game.
  2. There is a gentleman named Scott Spinks that runs a business called premEar hearing. They offer a multitude of color options and different levels of protection. There are also Bluetooth capabilities that are available with his products.
  3. Plus one for the baby jogger stroller. Scout your local craigslist and the kid based consignment shops.
  4. I like to have some prince brand grip enhancer, and second skin.
  5. I really like my .45. If you can't find a place for it, and if you're gonna let these folks talk you out of shooting a particular division, I'll find a place for the gun.
  6. Cz money would sure go along way in instructor fees.
  7. I really like my msa electronic, but at the end of a long day I'm tired of them. The prem-ear brand is nice as far as molded go.
  8. Gas that pea-shooter up, and let 'er rip tater chip. I swapped to L-10 minor for a bit and that worked out fine so long as I shot a good many in the alpha. Funny how that works.
  9. The stripped down Luth-ar is a winner in my book.
  10. Strike fire and Romeo 7 are two that seem a bit bulky, has anyone had success with the Romeo 5? My thought is that the slimmed down profile will be less distracting.
  11. I, too, am curious what the benefit is to the straight weight springs. After trying some nowlins (variable), I'm hooked.
  12. The staff here knocked it out of the park. All of the work put in prior to the weekend of the match was evident in all aspects from registration to evacuation.
  13. I was rolling my thumb section of palm into the slide lock. Glock habits, I guess. All sorted out now. Thanks everyone for your guidance. --Balliet
  14. Has anyone ever had a problem with their support hand pushing up the slide lock during the course of fire?
  15. however, in the meantime, what is the longest pad i can place on an 8 rd. mag? i think i will order pads for what i have to get me thru a couple of matches.
  16. seems that the etm is the way to go. I've heard a lot of praise for them.
  17. I use a Black Dog Defense belt. Do the DA pouches swap from bullets out to bullets forward? Any luck with Chip McCormick mags? Do the Tripp mags have extensions on them, already?
  18. i shot my first ss match yesterday with mostly borrowed gear. what are everyones recommendations on mags and extensions? the gun I'm running is a kimber tle, and i bought a used magwell that i believe is a dawson. thanks in advance.
  19. newb question: Whats a memory stage?
  20. i appreciate all of this, y'all. keep it coming!
  21. thanks jd, where in sc? I'm in clarks hill.
  22. it was non sanctioned idpa. didn't feel it was worth ruffling too many feathers
  23. Actual dry fire with a real gun. any video in particular i should watch?
  24. im a fairly new shooter, so i try to ask questions to other shooters instead of offend them for now. i generally wouldn't call someone out on an infraction other than safety related either. i recently questioned a shooters performance regarding the stage descriptions rules and was met with resistance from the RO. i pushed the issue, but not too far, as the offender was also a range employee. my question is merely for conversations purposes, but how far have y'all gone to have your point heard? safety issue, or procedural issue alike.
