Those Aero Precision mounts are nice. If you're counting ounces they're worth the weight reduction!

Has anyone had good luck with the standard Dillon powder/flairing die when using these new-fangled coated bullets? From the sounds of it, its not worth trying with the Dillon die. I've been looking to switch to these lower cost bullets in 45. I guess another die isn't the end of the world.

I zero at 100 yds. Our home range only goes to 100yds. Practice with 200 and 300 yds and learn your hold overs at those longer distances.

I've been using the Miculek comp. Works great and the price is right. Not the best looking comp, but very effective. Its very loud though. If shooting next to a barrel, wall, or barricade I usually double plug.

I've had great luck with Montana Gold bullets. They are very consistent bullet to bullet and lot to lot. They are a bit more expensive, so you might want to experiment with lower cost bullets first.

I made the mistake of not getting on the wait list last year. Figured they wouldn't get through the list. I'll try to be more prepared this year.

I just got my Strike Eagle last night. For the price it looks very nice. I hope to get it mounted up later this week and try it out. Its replacing a Burris MTAC 1-4x. Hopefully will post some more details later.

I'm not sure a like button would do them justice! Those are works of art.

Hey Jesse - What's the trick to getting into the Nordic Components Tactical shotgun match? It fills up so fast and they allow previous shooters first dibs.

I've been searching Enos for info for years. Finally made the jump and got an account. Not sure why I didn't do this years ago!!

I made the jump to open a couple years ago. I used a modified Glock 17 and set it up to use 9mm major loads for the first year. Great care should be taken if you're new to reloading and 9mm major. I would shoot 9mm minor for a bit until you get the fundamentals of reloading, buy a chrono, then make the jump to major.
12 or 15" rail?

I have long arms and the 15" feels more natural. Transitioning between targets seems to be quicker and more stable with an out stretched grip near the end of the forearm.
