Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I'm running the Apex flat trigger with DCAEK and forward set kit. I've stippled the grip, which helped a lot, and applied skatertape to the front. I want the SSS ESP magwell but it is out of stock; I'm considering modding the frame for a safety lever, too. I like my STI and I'm used to having that safety there. I'm off to take it to a local USPSA match and get my butt whipped in the Open class. That said, if this turns into a smokin blaster for me, I'm definitely considering a Carver barrel/comp and setting this up with the 3.5lb race trigger and a Limited magwell. Not a lot of solid data on Major 9 through this gun, though. Any reports of catastrophy? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
  2. Hello everyone, glad I finally made an account here. I'm an Army vet and living in south Idaho. I do USPSA, IDPA, and steel challenge. I love hobby gunsmithing work and I'm always trying to learn new things about the craft.
  3. Hi! First post here- hope I'm in the right place. I'm working on my Dillon 650 and I noticed that there's very little margin for adjustment on the assembly indexing ring- the grey, angled plastic bobbin on the left side of the shaft, and the black piece of metal that it indexes against. Has anyone successfully modified that component for more lateral motion? I can only move it a few mm left or right, but it looks like if I could tweak it a bit more I could really get the shellplate and brass ramp to index at the proper rates. Curious if I'm reinventing the wheel before I start miling. Thanks!
