    it looks like the locking screw for the long bolt in the base plate to prevent this from turning

    Brake cleaner. Put the rounds on a cloth spray the cleaner and a slight rub does the job!

    I use PRIVI PARTIZAN .308 WIN 150GR FMJ in combination with 45 grain Vihtavuori n140. Works fine for me at approx. 100 yards.

    Have you internally checked the upper part of the Powderslider? Can’t imagine that this is caused by gunpowder. Perhaps there some Sharp edges in the slider?

    I guess you 've got the wrong primer tube installed. The one with theblue tip is the right one.

    Heard of people using only rice and are very satisfied with the results. I say why don't you just give it a try? Perhaps it's a good idea to use broken rice. (for the inside)
