  1. Thanks for the replies. I scrubbed the crap out of the chamber, and I mean literally. I had shot some Wolf thru it and must not have cleaned it enough. First few rounds would work OK but as the gun warmed up they would stick. I seem to remember some crud on the shoulders of the sticking cases. After the good cleaning I used this at a 3 Gun match, about 70 rounds, and it worked OK again.
  2. I'm using Lee dies and I don't have a case gauge yet. Any suggestion on where to get a case gauge?

    223 FTE

I've got a problem with my 223 reloads in my DPMS AR. I'm loading used Winchester cases with 23.7gr 2230 to an OAL of 2.23. Using Win small rifle primers and 55 FMJBT. These shoot 1 moa if I'm having a good day. Problem is after 10 - 15 rounds I get stuck cases. Never had this problem with factory stuff. Take the rifle home, remove the stuck case by beating it out and clean the heck out of the chamber and I'm good to go for another dozen rounds. Any thoughts?
  4. I have a Lee Load Master doing 9mm, 38, 357 & 223 on. Mostly 9mm, shooting about 350 each month. My brother in law has an old 450 he isn't using. I offered to take it off his hands. I think its setup for 45 now but I would probably do my 9mm on it. Does anyone have an idea what the value might be?
  5. I'm using 3.9 of Titegroup. Don't have a chrono so don't know the PF but not had any complaints.
  6. Thanks everyone for the replies. Great videos on utube. I will look closer at my primer depth also.
  7. Hi All, I've got a LoadMaster and the carrier was broke at the screw for the primer lever pivot (I'm not smart enough to stop and look when the activator arm works harder than normal). I've been reloading 9mm but using a Lee hand primer. I can feel when the primer goes in easier telling me that the primer pocket might be enlarged so I set these aside. I replaced the carrier and am now using the press for everything. Now I can't feel the primer insert pressure. Some of the reloads look to be getting light strikes in my G26 (subcompact) and they don't go off. I try them again later in the 26 or in my G17 and they always fire. I'm thinking if the primer pocket is loose the 26 is smaller and lighter and the additional recoil might be letting the primer shift so when the striker hits the primer moves and I get light hits. Does this make sense? Any other ideas and or suggestions how to eliminate this problem? Buy the way, I can't afford to get a Dillon yet.
