  1. Great to do business with. I bought a Mr. Bullet Feeder off of him at a great price and came exactly as he said. He's pretty patient to. Would definitely recommend.

  2. ***Follow Up*** Just needed a lil finesse, it was a long day and it was the first time I've worked on this gun. Thanks fellas
  3. I have a brand new 930 with maybe 200rds through it. I took it apart to clean it but when I went to put it back together, i couldn't get the tube extension on with. I saw that the forearm wasn't seated all the way because of this piece being rotated somehow. It won't allow the notches to line up. I have no idea how I did this or how to fix it. The dang thing won't budge. [/img] Quote MultiQuote Edit
  4. Welcome! How'd you get past the CA firewalls?! JK Welcome from Indiana -> Tennessee -> North Carolina
  5. Hey Ash, Welcome to the forum. The General Gunsmithing forum has some great topics on stippling. http://forums.brianenos.com/index.php?/search/&q=stippling&type=forums_topic&nodes=38 There are a lot of resources here, you've definitely come to the right place!
  6. kinda hard to pass up a sale like this though.
  7. Thanks fella's I'll give that a try. I've played with the belling but i didn't want to over do it and my guess is that i was too conservative.
  8. I am wanting to get into 3 Gun/Multi Gun competitions. I've been shooting USPSA for about a 1 1/2 years now and the itch for more has bit me. I bought a 930 JM Pro and I have an AR to get me started while I save up to build my competition rifle. I could use some advice. I have a Sig Sauer m400 ar that's all stock except for an Aimpoint PRO that I bought for it a while back. I'm trying to decide what i should worry about getting first as the funds allow. Vortex Strike Eagle or Trigger (haven't decided on 1 yet but I don't want to spend money twice and would like to swap it out for the comp build) Sorry for the noob & generic question
  9. Hey all i have a 550 and using Dillon dies. I can't figure out why I keep shaving the coating off the bullets when I seat them. I'm loading 9mm with 135 truncated cone blue bullets Does anyone have any tricks or tips?
  10. I have a 550 and shooting a match every weekend I wish i would have gone with a 650. It is sufficient for now until I can make the push to a 650 or 1050. Spend the money once.
  11. You'd be better off coordinating with a group in your local club and getting something together. We did a Chris Tilley class in Statesville, NC with about 12 of us.
  12. Like a lot of these guys said. When i first started out I found the simplest way to shoot the stage. As time progressed and i learned the game it became a LOT easier. Once you have YOUR stage plane, don't change it after your walk through. Just go shoot your plan and make sure you do it the way you planned. As you progress you'll start seeing ways to shoot it to better game it. Next, when i shoot a stage i start by clustering the targets by shooting positions, i then will remember them by round count. Such as on a 32rd stage i'll shoot 8 from A (reload), 4 from B, 4 from C (reload,) 6 from C (reload), 8 from D, 2 from E. Starting out. don't over think it. Get your hits from where you know you can get them. The rest will come with experience. Oh and don't be afraid to chat up fellow shooters and ask them questions. One thing I learned about this sport is that seasoned shooters LOVE to help out new people. Just be courtious and let them walk the stage (while you follow them) and get their stage plane then ask them for tips or if they would mind showing you their plan. *this is for Level 1 matches lol*
  13. Hey All, I'm Josh. I live in Statesville, NC just outside of Charlotte. I've been shooting all my life but only competing for about 15 months now. I shot an indoor steal plate match once for the heck of it and got bit by the bug. I shot my first USPSA match in May of 2015 and have shot 3-4 matches a month since then. I won D class at the NC State championship in 2015 and am now a high B shooter in Production. I started off with an M&P 9L and now shoot a CZ SP-01 Tactical that I put all the Cajun goodies in. I shoot on the CZForum shooting team and have had a lot of fun with those folks. I just picked up a Moss 930 JM Pro a few weeks ago and putting together my gear for that fun stuff and once I get an optic, trigger and brake for my Sig M-400 i'll be read to go. I reload on a Dillon RL550B and CANNOT WAIT to upgrade to something auto-indexing and get a case feeder and a Bullet Feeder. Besides shooting I enjoy building cars and show trucks (fast and low for both), boating, flying airplanes, and much more. I've lurked the forums for quite a while learning as much as I can and decided to finally make an intro. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
  14. For CZ's it would just come down to having a Firing Pin Block and not. Other than that I wouldn't see any difference other than an advantage to only 1 type of dry firing lol
  15. With the Dawson rear sight and the basepads you definitely won't fit in the box with the +2's. I ordered all new pads so be legal. My mec-gars drop just fine but you have to either 1. NOT smash the eject button as hard as you can because you push the bottom of the button into the mag and it pinches it in the mag well, or 2. grind down the inside of the button (widening the slot that moves over the mag and into the well) so that you don't smash your mag. Also, the Stainless Steel mag break and some lube helps them drop free.
