  3. Anyone thats interested I found this deal on slickguns.com X-Cal for $794 and it looks like they have 14 in stock. http://www.mrgundealer.com/product.grand-power-x-calibur-9mm-blue-sada-2-15rd No affiliation and never ordered from them before. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  4. You will probably only notice it during dry fire. When I'm actually shooting in the field it is never noticed. Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah, I probably should have gotten a slap on the wrist for admitting that. Time to work on grip placement first Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk
  6. Maybe you guys can help me out. I've been running the X-Cal the past couple weekends. At first everything was great! As I've sped it up my grip placement can get a little sloppy on the draw shot and I'm already very forward with my support hand. What is happening is once I take that first shot, I believe the recoil is causing my support hand to contact the large mag release button. What subsequenly happens is the mag releases slightly and I'll have a stovepipe on extraction some of the time. I'm wondering if picking up the regular size mag release would solve my problem.
  7. Talked to Matt just a little bit ago. Real easy process and no hassle whatsoever. Just asked for a little information from me on where he needed to ship the new rear sight and he's getting me one in the mail right away. Can't say I've had an easier customer experience with any other company in any other industry. WAY TO GO EAGLE IMPORTS! This in my book gives way more credibility to a brand like Grand Power if they have an importer that is this willing to stand behind their products.
  8. Well my X-Cal developed the same problem today. Noticed I was shooting a little right of center for some reason. I had previously zeroed the rear sight and it had been right on. Went to adjust the rear site and what do ya know it moved just by pressing the screw driver against it. Then I had no problem moving it back and forth, almost the distance of the slot, easily with my fingers. I'll be calling Eagle on Monday to see of they can help me out.
  9. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_5_36/157293_Disable_TP9SA_Decocker.html Above is a way to disable the decocker. I did not make this and take zero credit. Just linking to it
  10. I'd lone him my X-Cal too. But he'd have to make his way to Nashville TN
  11. Great videos as always! Love watching them! It's a shame you can't get your hands on an X-Cal
  12. Tested out the medium spring today and had brass falling directly below the gun. Also had one stove pipe but I'm chalking that up to support hand thumb causing friction against the slide. Still trying to figure out the optimal grip placement for me. I am going back to the lightest spring as ejection was more positive by a couple feet with it.
  13. If I'm shooting 124gr rounds at about ~1050fps what recoil spring should I be using in my X-Cal? The lightest(short black one) or the medium(longer black one)? Why would one spring be better over the other? I currently have the lightest spring(short black one) in and my ejected brass ends up no further than a couple feet from me.
  14. Just broke out the punches and hammer today and decided to remove part #52. I will say it makes a very noticeable improvement on the DA pull and a slight reduction on the SA break. No trigger gauge here to actually test the lbs. Only dry fired it since but im loving the gun more and more every day. Now if only my 9mm ammo would come in so I can shoot it more. Got a dang stockpile of 40cal
  15. Picked up my X-Cal this morning. Only had time to run 15 rounds through it. The DA is a little heavier than expected, but the SA is wonderful. Also really like the sight set up and grip ergos. Did have an issue with activating the safety when reaching for the slide release. Might have to switch to having the smaller safeties on both sides.I'm sure I'll learn more when I have a chance to put some more rounds through it. I was accurate with it even at speed, which is very promising!
