Looking for load data sport pistol w/200 gr rn/fp plated for my m&p shield for speed steel, bowling pins, and fun shooting.

Does this apply to m&p shield 45 as well? I received a replacement striker assembly for my 45 shield from S&W and the one I received was not marked. 8 thousand rounds and no failure except for a weak rsa,yet.. Thanks Steve

Thanks to all that replied. Been using 5.2 with 200gr. extreme rn, OAL 1.250 in my shield 45 and 01 full size 45. Both pistols seem happy with it, low recoil and full cycling. Don't have access to a chrony, yet. Accuracy is more than acceptable. May give 5.0 a closer look.

Well,,, I tried 5.0 and 5.1 grains of sport pistol with the 200 gr. rn plated. My 45 shield seems to like the 5.1 better. 5.0 doesn't consistently feed. Still no chrony here. Anyone else 45/200rn and Sport Pistol?

Shield 45 here as well. Perceived recoil less than my 1.0 9mm shield. Very addictive! soft shooter,Very accurate! Like it best of all of my m&P's. Issues loading and unloading the 7 round magazines. Does not like Brazos 200gr.swc. But shoots everything else it's fed. Shooting 200gr rn plated with 5.1 gr sport pistol. Have High Noon slide guard owb and Vedder litetuck iwb. Both great holsters.Trigger fine after break in. Going to paint front sight, and call it good. My edc, and I am comfortable with it. About 700 rnds, only issue is with too light loaded handloads, and slide scraping up brass! Mine does not have safety, wish it did... Would not hesitate to get another! Any loads appreciated.

Just acquired 4 lbs of sport pistol and plan on using it in 9 and 45. In 45, I have 200 gr. round nose plated bullets and am looking for suggestions on loading soft shooters with reasonable accuracy from my new to me m&p 45 and shield 45. No access to Chrony at this time. Plinking and speed steel. Thanks in advance. Steve
