  1. I am shooting a similar setup. g35 gen 4 voggel 3.5lb trigger, 4.5lb firing spring, dawson ice mag well, Amerigo G.O. front sight Defoor rear, tti base pads. it came with a 13lb spring and the stock 17lb. i think factory major ammo is a bit much for 13lb spring so i ordered a 15lb ismi single spring with a stainless guide rod which arrived today.i think for 170pf and up to factory ammo would be great for this spring. 13lb is just too soft and i think, better suited for minor rounds.
  2. do you know the fps or pf on percision delta reman ammo? doesnt list on the site.
  3. i got my answer. did a google search. 3 is suffice, but nice to have the 4th for the "oh sh!t moments". thats mainly what the 6th mag was for in the production division. i see no need for the 5th. sorry for answering my own question.
  4. When i was shooting production i had 6 mags on the belt which made 60 rounds. with my limited setup now, i have 4 x 19 rounds which gives me 76. I never really used 60 rounds when i was production unless i really messed up. safe to assume 76 rounds is plenty for any given stage? I have a 5th mag and pouch, but wanted to keep the weight down on the belt so only setup 4 mags for now.
  5. i meant $13 for 50 rounds sorry typo. i fixed it in the previous post. was super early when i wrote that post this morning lol. I may consider it down the road to start reloading. right now my pf on the factory reman ammo that i practice with is 166, dangerously close to the limit. BUT the match ammo i buy during a ranked match is pf of 170 so its got a cushion. however, the match ammo is MUCH more expensive because its not reman ammo, its factory new at $23/box. local matches i use the reman stuff.
  6. I am not. i was looking at the price for the reloading machine, brass, primers, powder and as of right now, i wont be saving that much money. I pay $13 for 50rds of .40sw factory reloaded ammo, so i think that's pretty cheap. reloading doesn't seem to be cost effective at this point. people are asking crazy prices for brass, primers, and powder, nvm the machines initial investment. $0.26 per round right now that i am paying is pretty decent. How much per round would reloading cost me?
  7. no the mags are not brand new and neither is the gun. it has some rounds through it, all though not sure how many. 19 rounds feeds perfectly. The rounds i am using to test is new factory ammo. Also not much to trim on the glock followers, they are pretty thin already. I am afraid to cut a coil off the spring, it might not feed well. might just have to live with the 19 rounds.
  8. when i shot production 6 mags was what I needed. 4 mags at 10 rounds just wasnt enough. some stages are 50-60 rounds.
  9. comp-tac lead time right now is 5 business days. i ordered mine last friday, shipped out this wed.
  10. I like the comptac international holster personally.
  11. Hey everyone, I have a glock 35 gen 4 with the dawson mag well. I recently picked up some +5 tti base pads (.40sw). to make the base pad pin not contact the mag well, i dremmeld the plastic insert the mag well came with and works fantastic with the tti base pads now. only issue is, its pretty tough to fit 20 rounds in them, but the major issue is, when I load all 20 the slide is extremely difficult to pull back to load a round in the chamber. anyone else experience this? I am affraid doing this over and over again may damage the gun or the magazine. any work around? and yes i loaded the new springs the base pads came with. Thanks. Jon.
