Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. I think the stock sti grips are the best feeling. I'm a plastic grip paper puncher kinda guy. Lol Sent from my HTC Desire Eye using Tapatalk
  2. I think I shoot better with shooters that are more fun to be around. My top stage finishes as a newish shooter have been when I'm relaxed and having a good time and joking around. Get serious when it's your turn but know if you mess up well all get a laugh out of it. Sent from my HTC Desire Eye using Tapatalk
  3. This was happening to me. There were bulges in the brass that wouldn't allow it to go into battery. When I was inspecting the brass it was barely noticeable. Lee makes a die system to solve this.
  4. Aim small miss small. Even when I shoot major my rounds need to be all alphas to win. They never are... But they should be. lol
  5. Doing 10 hour shifts as a CNC machine operator on the footsies, I'd rather sit while reloading Heh I'm a painter and a carpenter work 12-14hr days 6-7days a week only days I don't work I shoot lol. I still like to stand and load.
  6. Technically Dillon suggests you stand while reloading. So if you're going to mount it on the bench the bench should be standard counter top height, 36inches, if you're mounting it on the strong mount you're bench can be standard table height, 30inches. I have a strong mount and I really like it.
  7. I've had mine for 1 and a half and I've shot more ipsc shotgun matches than 3 gun. So I've easily put more wear on it than the average 3 gun guy. Runs like the day I bought it.
  8. For multigun the issue comes up a lot with shotguns. You can have a 20 shot tube in limited but you have to start the stage at division cap, I think its 8, but once the stage starts you can load 20 shots in the gun.
  9. I have the comp and it has sights on it. The front sight is fiber. They are very similar to bead sights. You'll be shooting mostly bird shot and maybe one or two slug stages. When we shot 3 gun at our local club we never shot any. The sights are accurate for shooting slugs if need be but they are really nice for bird.
  10. STI Spartan 9mm from a member here on the forums. My wife bought it for me. Thanks again Scott. You were extremely pleasant to deal with.
  11. I'm really partial to the trijicon rx30. It's big ugly exterior hides a nice orange dot. Plus you never have to worry about batteries.
  12. I really like my Beretta 1301 Comp. I put a Nordic follower in it and that's it. Recoil is perfect. Gun is fast and accurate and points extremely well. Comes stock with an extended bolt release and safety as well as widened loading port.
  13. Get it in 40 and shoot limited major. Prolly be on par with the glocks xds and m&PS. Just pure speculation. Still plastic lol
  14. In sports where you compete as an individual it is very easy to over analyze something and lose focus. I'm not any classification to brag about, but I don't find it helpful to go through a stage more than a few times. I plan my reloads I make sure I've covered all the targets then I sit down. Then I refresh myself right before my turn. I also find I do far better in the one or two slot than I do in the last few spots.
