Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. What overall length are you using? I'm always looking for new loads and I shoot mostly xtreme 124grain plated bullets.
  2. What is your favorite 9mm powder for accuracy? I've had good luck with Power Pistol and Bullseye but I'm always looking for new loads.
  3. Thanks for the replies so far guys. Does anyone have any favorite loads for this bullet with the HP-38 / 231 powder?
  4. What is your most accurate 9mm 124 grain load for plated bullets? I have a few thousand X-treme bullets and a few pounds of Power Pistol, Bullseye, HP-38, and Titegroup, I've been going with 5.5 grains of Power Pistol at 1.135" OAL but would like to try something new. Any advice is appreciated, Thanks
  5. I've had good luck with 4.8gr of Bullseye or 4.6gr of Titegroup with that bullet at 1.250"
  6. I mostly like shooting my Glock 19, Glock 26, Sig Sauer P226, and an STI Lawman with the 9mm reloads. What recipe with Titegroup would you recommend with the xtreme 124grain RN TMJ bullet? I have a lot of them left and am curious about your OAL and other experiences with Titegroup powder. I plan on also making some 45acp ammunition with Titegroup. I have used mostly Bullseye with the 45acp and had good success so far. What load of Titegroup do you guys prefer, 4.6-4.8 grains sound about right?
  7. Today I tried shooting some 9mm ammo loaded with Titegroup powder. I know Titegroup isn't the best powder for 9mm but I have a bunch of it and figured I would try some out in 9mm. 9mm Xtreme 124 RN TMJ 3.9gr Titegroup CCI 500 primers Mixed brass, mostly Speer 1.140" OAL These rounds had a nice soft puff feel to the recoil but they have horrible accuracy. I fired some ammo with the same components and OAL with the one difference being 5.7 grains of Power Pistol. The Power Pistol loading was far more accurate. What do you think of Titegroup in 9mm? any recommendations?
  8. I'm pretty new to reloading 9mm and just started using the xtreme 124gr TMJ rn bullets at an OAL of 1.165". The max OAL my Lyman book says is 1.169" and I saw Brian Enos recommends as longer OAL for reliability on his Lenny McGill video. When I load two rounds in a mag in my Glock 26, and fire one to let the gun chamber the next round, the bullet point gets damaged. It appears during the chamfering process the bullets strikes the bottom edge of the feed ramp, deforms, then gets directed into the chamber. I reduced my OAL to 1.165" and still have the damage occurring although to a lesser extent. My Glock 26 is a new Gen 4 model with a test fire date of March 2015. My load was: Mostly Speer lawman brass Xtreme 124gr TMJ round nose bullet CCI 500 small pistol primer 5.8 and 6.0 grains of power pistol powder. What OAL do you guys recommend, powder charge ectera? I'm going to make a batch at 1.145" at 5.2grains of power pistol. And see if that does anything.
