I just lift the arm and put a narrow piece of sheet metal under it, in where the wave washer is. That way it doesn't index the disk.

LOL That never occurred to me but it's more likely.

I've been loading on a 650 for 20+ years and can say I've never had this issue. Is it somehow working its way up and then falls out or is it just, as you say, popping out? What part of the stroke is it popping out? Is there something catching and causing the platform to jump/snap?

I'm hopping someone can double check/help me. I'm building a wet tumbler and I have everything I need except the large pulley. I've used http://www.culvermotor.com/Engineering-Formulas/Pulley-and-RPM-Calculator.htmland I come up with the below. 1725 -- 2 -- 7 = 492.86 492.86 -- 1 -- 6.75 = 73.02 1725 rpm motor with 2" pulley 6" PVC which is 6.75" on the outside of the cap and reducer. 3/4" shaft for one side and 1/2" shaft for the other (because that's what pillow blocks I had on hand). With the heater hose on the 3/4" shaft it's 1" OD (I'd like to drive from the 3/4" shaft). Now to get down to the 70 rpm range it "appears" that I have to use a 7" pulley on the 3/4" shaft. This seems to be much larger than others have been using. Can anyone confirm that I need a 7" pulley or show me the error of my ways? Thanks!

I have a 650 with a strong mount and load while seated. I like it because it puts everything at a better eye level. I also use the same chair for loading and cleaning. ;-)

I have the Dillon roller with the triangle shape plastic which I've used and loved for years. I just recently add the uniqutek foam cover to it and it's even better. Even during my longest loading sessions there is no discomfort.

Very Nice! It may be above the level/cost of the component but can you picture-in-picture? Say the small window the case feeder level and the main picture the powder in the case view.

I'm new to the 1050 and I'm wondering if I can use the short trim die toolhead for 223? I'm not currently doing amy blackout but plan to. For obvious reason I'd rather not buy two toolheads if I can help it. Thanks

I have had a 650 for 20 years and would recommend it to anyone looking into a progressive setup. As someone else mentioned, get an additional tool head and powder measure if you can.

650 + Case Feeder + Strong Mount = 45" Strong Mount = 8.5"

I to have mine on the backside of the front post. Going on two years, I don't know how I got along without before.

If it's only a slight change I'll cycle 3-4 and then check each one until I get 3-4 that have been consistent. Then I'll again check after 10-15 throws just to confirm.

I currently only have 9mm. However looking at their conversion kit it looks really straight forward. Their specific questions on bullets is so they send you the correct ring. They did swap me a couple of rings because the bullets I'm using weren't in their drop down. They did this at no cost to me and it could have been avoided had I just called them to order instead of picking what I "thought" was close to my bullet. Once I had the correct ring it's been 100% for 10,000+ rounds. Now that all being said... I recently found out you can't convert from pistol to rifle or vice versa. I'm really disappointed in that. Sooooo to go to 223 I'm thinking about getting a Mr. Bullet.

I have the GSI for my 650 and love it.

I bet that when a primer returns on the disc under the new primer stack that it caused issues (binding or it would catch on them at times) and it is one of the last places you want any issues. That or maybe they didn't want a chance of having a stray primer, of the wrong type, coming back around when you switched between rifle and pistol. Just another guess though. ;-)

I'm having an issue with my 650 and it's similar to the issue I was having before I sent it in to be rebuilt. Is there a way to twist the whole base section on the shaft slightly? The reason I ask is that the powder funnel and the bullet seating stations catch/touch the leading edge of the brass when I'm raising it up. The other stations are of course the same way but they don't catch the brass like the other two stations do. The shellplate turns freely and is not binding. I see from the drawings that there appear to be two screws holding that base to the shaft. Does anyone know if they're slotted or not? Ideas? Thanks!
