So I am wondering what problems I could have if I loaded a shot shell with a heavier payload of lead shot i.e. around 1 3/8oz of #6 and or #7 1/2, and just enough of 700x or 800x to cycle a semi-auto shotgun?

So I am looking at picking up a spare Feed Latch for my Versa Max Tactical, and going through Brownells, I find that there are two different ones that fit the VM? One is Part #F400816 and the other is #F405391, I am pretty sure that I need the F405391, but the other one is almost half the cost. Can anyone tell me if the cheaper one will work, or can be made to work in the VM Tactical? I am planning on doing some of the Feed Latch mods if that makes any difference.

Personal Preference I guess, Most matches only allow 8+1 but after starting you can fill to capacity. the 9+1 "usually" extends past the end of the barrel by a few inches

Si I am getting a new VM Tactical to replace my 1100 for 3-gun. The one thing that I am trying to figure out which tube I want to put on the magazine. I have the 22" barrel and I would like to get to 9+1. Since I do not have the gun yet I am hoping that one of does and can measure form where the nut attaches to the main magazine at the end of the forearm, to the end of the 22" barrel, or can you tell me what Nordic MXT tube I need to get to the 9+1
