I have 7 on my SS belt and they work well no problems with strength but I have one that wants to sit just a little canted foreword on the belt over all very happy with them.

Deep hole - I'm running the timer In the Hole - most likely still running the timer (it me and one other RO on the squad if I'm lucky On Deck - If I'm not running the timer check mags and walk my run as scoring is being done Make ready - pull first mag with 9 in it SS and pull gun put in mag run the slide check that mag now has 8 safety on and holster wait for beep

Well I have been working on keeping the gun up and moving with a perpos instead of walking and things went much better today still have some work to do but really that is never done. https://youtu.be/mBOv5XgPjr0

Whet back and watched the video again and wow I really do drop the gun a lot between targets. That needs to stop. Not sure why I did not see that until it was pointed out but wow.

Jake thanks for taking what I'm sure was a lot of time Im really great full for the feed back. What I'm hearing is stay on the gun between targets and run more. Also the slow reload on stage 4 was bad mussel memory all mags on table and I went to my belt and could not find a mag. That cost me as it came in at 59.??% for the classifier.

What I don't understand is when I am shooting I feel like I am moving fast. When I see the video I am not moving fast how do over come that is it just practice?

That is something I'v just started to work on but have limited space to "get up to speed" but I taped off two boxes in my basement and have been going back and forth buts only 5 big steeps. I have also been working on turning 90 degrees for the next target.

I'm right there with you on needing to run and when I'm shooting I feel like I am but as we all can see I'm not that's what has me stuck. I came in second SS on that stage with 145 points and the winner shot 114 points I'm slow.

My draw is 1.6 at 10 yards with the second shot at 1.85 to 1.9 reload is about 1.9/2.0 This is from my last match and I move slow I need drills to work on that.

I need to get faster but not sure how. I'm shooting 93.12% of possible points shooting SS major and am getting my but kicked by guys shooting the stages in 75% of my time. What drills should I be doing to work on foot speed and getting in and out of shoot positons. I think that is what I need to work on as my splits are at about .26 sec.

ya I have and they are nothing great for what they want price wise.

The carhartt stuff looks nice but wow not cheep. How do they last. I'm not agenst dropping some money if they will hold up for 3 or 4 years I'm spend money every year or two as it is.

Who makes a good two part (jacket pants set) rain gear set. They will be used for more than shooting but I am tired of needing new stuff every year or two. Up to this point I have never had to shoot in the rain but I shot my first major this year at area 3 and missed all the rain Saturday and Sunday by shooting Friday. I have plans for more next year if I can get the time off work and want to have a better set that will hold up.

Yep loose rounds in 50 and 30cal ammo cans is the way to go. But they do get heavy when full.

How many magazines on your belt for single stack? Up until area 3 I thought 6 magazines on my belt was more than I needed. On one stage I reached all the way back and grabbed my last mag and finished the stage with 3 rounds in the gun and an empty belt Now I will admit that I dumped a full mag to clear a double feed on a slide lock reload so I had a full mag on the ground but not I am thinking I should have 7 magazines on the belt. So how many magazines is every one running for SS major.

I have a sig TME in 40 and like it a lot

Well I broke down this week and picked up a second sig TME in 40 just need a mag well and full length guide rod and a set of grips and it will be a carbon copy of my primary gun.

I have an Ice mag well on all my SS guns and they are huge and deep. I am now thinking a tad to deep as you need a long bumper and be carful to fully seat the mag. If I had to do it over I would probably go with the IPSC Dawson mag well
