My wife has her own small collection of guns. A few years ago she went on a BHP kick. We went to a gun show to see if we could find her one. She's looking over a table full of pistols when the owner asked if he could he help her. "Do you have a Hi-Power?" The guy stepped back and grandly swept his hand across a glass case full of Glocks "Little lady, ALL these are high power!" My wife looks at me, looks back at the guy, and in some confusion says "But... Those are Glocks. I'm looking for a Hi-Power." "They ARE high powered, Miss" "Gotcha... Thanks anyway." They both walked off shaking their heads.

I've got a LW 9mm conversion barrel in my Gen 2 31. With the stock ejector and extractor it worked fine, but kinda dribbled spent brass. I put a 9mm ejector and extractor on it and have a much more "positive" ejection... on spent brass. Under no circumstances will it eject unfired brass or dummy ammo with the mag removed. It'll kick 'em out just fine... Until LASC.... Then the round in the chamber just rattles down the mag well when I lock the slide to the rear.

I use this line almost daily. It's applicable in a lot of situations.

There are a few perks to living in a small town. Our UPS guy is one of them. If we get a package that requires a signature and no one is home, he'll swing by my office or the missus' office. Fed-Ex is a whole nother ball game. I've had Fed-Ex claim "no one home" on a delivery three days in a row on a required signature delivery. After the first day we put signs on all the doors. After the second day, we called the shipper to explain that Fed-Ex wasn't delivering our package despite Fed-Ex's claim of attempted delivery and how to handle it if the package was returned to shipper. The third day the shipper contacted Fed-Ex and requested the delivery to made with out a signature. It was finally delivered on the fourth day. Fed-Ex's customer service was polite and courteous, but offered little explanationas to why the driver continued to claim an attempted delivery when none was made.

It seems like Stoeger has made a lot of improvements on the M3000. I had a M2000 and it had a much sharper recoil than any of my gas operated Berettas. It was also the biggest POS firearm I ever purchased. The only thing it would do with any consistency was embarrass me at the worst possible time. I ended up selling it as a single shot automatic.

That is reasonable. Local indoor range has them priced at $39, a few miles down the road Academy has them for $29.

I ordered five from Glockmeister last week, three ended up back-ordered. I took a chance on Botach and placed an order for five on the 11th, got a notice of all five back-ordered on the 13th, a notice of shipment on the 18th with a non-working tracking number and all five showed up in the mail today. I was a little surprised that all five magazines showed up loose in the bottom of a padded envelope, but for $20 ea. I was happy.
