I know this is not dillon specific but...... I had a primer go in upside down on one of my 308's and I've pulled the bullet and dumped the powder. How would be the best way to remove the primer? If I put it in mt SS press will the decapping pin set it off??? Thanks, Mel

Ditto on this!!!!! After reading about this here I do this with a little NuFinish on all my new and wet tumbled brass! Makes loading on my 650XL as smooth as a baby's arse!

I sort/inspect all my 45 acp each time during my cleaning/depriming process and I still had about a dozen of the damn spp things show up while i was loading up yesterday!!! My eyes must be getting worse with old age.... I load the spp up and give them too my dad for his SHTF stock....

I like Longshot for my .40 loads, Bullseye for my 45 acp loads and hs-6 for my 9mm.

I've had great results using 168 gr SMK's over 41 grs Benchmark.

I prefer 168 gr SMK's or 168 gr Amax's in my AR-10. For bolt hunting I prefer 165 gr Swift Scirocco II's.

IMHO All Hodgdon's load data is lawyered down.

3rd Gen has Longshot in stock. Powder Vally has HS-6 in stock.

For you 223/308 reloaders it looks like 335 and Benchmark is starting show up and stay available for a few days. I just got 8 lbs 335 from Widners and now I see Midsouth has it in stock!

I carry some kind of knife when I leave home.... but as I'm in my UW on the home computer at this time I don't have one on me per say, but I have several within arms reach on my desk as I type this.....

Disparity in pay???? Dillion obviously does not know that retired military only make 50% of base pay at 20 yrs of service. THATS Base Pay! Which is usually around two thirds of gross! And veterans that served proudly but got out before retirement get nothing!!!

The primer disc on my 650 was not indexing all the way around. The primer indexing arm was not springing back far enough to catch the next hole. It was as if the spring is not long or strong enough to kick it back far enough to catch the hole. It's a new spring and indexing arm. I took everything apart. Made sure it was cleaned and lubed still would not index. I finally stretched the spring a little and now it indexes fine. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks, Mel

Pistol brass is all mixed. Not for compitition. Just blasting /plinking. Compitition Brass is all new Starline. But I dont shoot compitition any more so I guess that's mute. Rifle brass, both 223 and 308, sorted by LC and other.

What would be nice is a Primer Seater Assembly (21380/21381) that would swage the brass on the upstroke like you do when you prime your brass. It's part #4 on page 52 of the 650 User Manual. Top photo. Primer Punch Assembly. This part would be just a little longer and wider to swage out the primer pocket. It should be something very easy to design and build. Mel
