  1. They email you a tracking number usually immediately. If you have a problem just call. They answer the phone and are very responsive.
  2. Problem resolved, I took it to a local gunsmith and he determined that the barrel was sitting too high. The light primer strikes were on the bottom of the primers. He took some material off the bottom of the barrel lug to center the barrel, 400 problem free rounds through it now I'm happy. Thanks for all your input!
  3. The slide won't go all the way into battery unless it is pulled all the way to the rear and released, it really doesn't do anything when the trigger is pulled
  4. The channel liner wasn't removed for the ceracote and is in there and clean as far as I can tell. I assumed a factory striker/spring would fire it but no luck. The recoil spring is a 16#, I'll worry about that one if I can ever get it to go bang. No real cuts, just some serrations.
  5. The slide itself is a very tight fit on the frame, very hard to get on and off but nothing sticks, the back plate comes off like normal. The striker is the Zev lightened one and all ammo is factory Remington and Winchester. I'll mostly be using factory ammo in the gun and carry it off duty after I can get at least 1k trouble free rounds through it.
  6. Gen 3 Glock with Caspian slide, KKM barrel, Zev Ultimate trigger/ #3 spring just won't fire. I just put it all together and the striker is hitting the primer but not hard enough to ignite the primer, I didn't try the 2# spring. I put a stock G22 trigger group and stock striker/spring in it and still no bang! When I first bought the used slide I put it together with stock parts and got off one round then light strikes, sent the slide off for serrations and ceracote and had high expectations but no love. Ammo is factory. I'm really at a loss of what to do next, any help would be greatly appreciated!

  8. Thanks again Whitefish for the reply, I was on the right track, like you suggested. I was seeing wear/rub marks on the bottom of the lug like you said. I took a very small amount down with a stone and it will go on easier. Not much though, you think putting some rounds through it will "get it broken in"? Or should I work it down more with the stone?
  9. Thanks Whitefish, turns out I hit the sides a tiny bit and its dropping in like it should. Now Ive got another problem. The complete new upper assembly won't slide on my new frame. The Caspian slide with KKM barrel will slide on my issued duty G22 but not on my new FDE G22 frame and cannot figure out why to save my life. My stock complete upper goes on the FDE frame like it's supposed to, when I try the Caspian/KKM something it stopping it from going all the way on. The factory barrel in the Caspian will go the FDE frame with some resistance at the same point its stopping with the new barrel. It seems to be hanging up on possibly the barrel lug. Any ideas??? Edit: got it on but I almost hand to hammer it on with the palm of my hand.
  10. I just bought a Caspian Glock slide, barely used, and am having an issue with a KKM barrel. When the barrel is inserted it will not fit into the slide without being forced, it will "snap" in with a little pressure but I doubt the gun will cycle, haven't tried it. I'm assuming a little material needs to come off the back/top of the barrel. Am I on the right track? I'd like to do it myself if possible. A factory G22 barrel drops in and functions like it should. Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated!
  11. Thanks so much, I'll sure try he's a wealth of knowledge and a great guy.
