  1. Just picked up G22 LEO trade in mags from Aim Surplus for $11.95 a piece. worth a look, but I hope to pick up some from magpul as well
  2. Ya I am going to try and get ahold of Jager tomorrow and see what they say, if anyone knows I figure it will be them.
  3. Here is front view of breech face with firing pin safety not depressed Second view from top of slide (tried to get as parallel to breech face as I could) Bottom View Final view with firing pin safety depressed (striker fully forward for reference)
  4. slowmo, no this is not the case. when slide is on the frame and in battery it does not protrude (striker is in half cock (?) on the cruciform in the back). With the slide off the gun is where the issue occurs using the recommended glock test for the firing pin safety. I will post pictures here in a minute when I get a chance.
  5. Thanks for your reply, I understand I can run the OEM firing pin although there plenty of people running ZEV/Jager firing pins successfully so it seems odd there is an issue with all 3 I have had. I also tried the striker in a bone stock G23 with the same issue. Maybe I am just paranoid but I am not a fan of bypassing safeties that are supposed to be there.
  6. Hello, first post been a lurker for a while now but I have a question regarding the Jager skeletonized striker. I installed a ZEV ultimate fulcrum kit and ended up sending back because it would double and triple constantly. Received multiple warranty parts and unfortunately nothing fixed the issue. I also noticed with this kit the ZEV striker would protrude past the breech face without disengaging the firing pin safety which worried me. Received a new striker and same issue even with putting stock firing pin block back in. I cant say enough good things about ZEV's customer service, they were willing to help and sent multiple parts to try and remedy the situation, just turns out it wasn't for me. So now I picked up a Vanek Classic GM kit and love it. I prefer this trigger pull over the ZEV personally although the same issue is happening with the included Jager striker. Without disengaging the firing pin safety the tip is blatantly past the breech face, not just close. Checked again with stock striker and no issues. Anyone else having this issue with the skeletonized / extended tip strikers on the market? Seems odd to have 3 brand new strikers from 2 different companies with the same issue... For reference, gun is a Gen3 35 bought new around the beginning of last fall 2014.
