Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. The DVC is a very expensive gun. I wonder why STI didn't make an accuracy guarantee with it. A minimum 1" @ 25 yards isn't unreasonable for the price and hype. Is the DVC meant more for action pistol shooting than bullseye? Can it serve both roles? Has anyone gotten better accuracy out of it?
  2. When did the S&W Performance Center guns like the DPA series (4" and 5" unobtanium) fall out of favor with IDPA competitors? Was it when the M&P were released? The PC 5906 guns used to rule IDPA. Curious, if anyone still uses one or still has one.
  3. I don't think he really uses a SIG 1911. I watch the show Hot Shots on the Sportmans channel and they frequently show closeups of his gun. It looks an awful lot like an STI 2011.
  4. I'm having trouble finding contact information for the C.P. Bullets manufacturing company. I keep getting search results for Classic Pistol in PA. I don't think they are the same business as Classic Pistol is a shooting range and not a firearms accessories manufacturer.
  5. If anyone has a PC 5906, I'd like to know if your DPA 5906 gun has a trigger free play spring installed. When the trigger is in the DA position, there should be no free play with it, and it should feel taught with spring tension pushing the trigger forward. If your gun doesn't have the spring installed, the trigger will literally feel loose for the first few millimeters of rearward travel.
  6. Does anyone know if the S&W Performance Center 5906 guns are still legal in production? It seems like the M&P series has far surpassed the S&W 3rd gen guns for competition use. I've been trying to find an unobtanium PC 5906 forever.
