My 40 M&P will shoot range brass no problem. The S&W 610 requires the bulge buster kit to get the cases to drop in reliably. The brass that I resized, goes into a bucket and is only used in the revolver after that. Have you loaded any on the SDB yet?
go over to Cast Boolits the folks there have a ton of he info you are looking for. Keep hitting the small shops and you will find someone to give you wheel weights.
I voted no.
I do however sort brass for my moon clipped revolver. The moons make it easy to keep them sorted and the cases are held in the moon more consistantly.
Before I bought the North Mountain moon clip holder, I was using a nylon shotgun shell belt loop holder. I put 2 .38's in each loop, and I never lost one. I think you can get them at Walmart for about 5 bucks

I had my 686+ converted to moon clips by Mark Hartshorne of Pinnacle Guns. He did a great job. I mailed my cylinder to him, he cut it and mailed it back. I'd shoot him an e-mail to find out when he plans to do the next batch first though.
There must be something genetic about wanting a 610. Mine is in transit to my FFL here, and you and I have the same last name. I thought that was pretty coincidental.
