Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Good for you sir! Never give up.
  2. My groups with a dot are also tighter than with irons. However I'm still not as fast out of the holster with the dot but I'm getting there.
  3. "....but I had a lot of fun." That's what it's all about IMO.
  4. +1 for Primary Machine. I've had two pistols milled by them.
  5. shoot it of a rest of some kind would be the first thing I'd try. That or have a buddy shoot it.
  6. Did it. Works great. Thanks guys.
  7. I'm currently running a DK competition trigger kit (with the lightweight striker) on my Gen 4 G34. It's time to replace the striker, trigger, and trigger safety springs but DK is not accepting orders at this time. Is my best bet to go with the TTI ultimate springs pack or is there a better choice? I like the DK trigger so I'd like for any replacement to be as close as possible to the DK setup.
  8. For us new guys, what are the two books you refer to? Brian Enos for the first and Ben Stoeger for the second I'm guessing.
  9. forgot to ad someone to help me back up after prone or knelling stages ain't that the truth!
  10. I'm a Super Senior just getting started in competitive shooting and have not even entered a match yet. I don't want to do anything stupid, so I've been doing practice drills classes until I feel I'm ready to shoot a competition. In my last class we ran several USPSA style stages and I had a blast. I was pleased with my performance and was pumped up on my two hour drive home. I have another drills class next week and I can't wait. My first competition should be in the near future and I'm looking forward to that as well. Oh, and when I got home and told my wife I placed third, her response was "why didn't you win? LOL. Maybe some day I will but that's not important to me. Well maybe it is, but right now I'm just happy about improving my own skills. P.S I know this is an old thread, but I'm new to this site so everything is new to me.
