  1. Thanks for the link. Yep, exact same problem here!
  2. I went back and did some more tests. I can repro the problem fairly consistently during mag reload practice. 1- Release and insert the mag between 15 and 25 times. 2- Slide stop comes out from the frame about .5 to 1mm. 3- Mag stops dropping. 4- Press mag release and pull mag out manually. 5- Move the slide back to the breakdown markers and press the slide lock all the way in. 6- Insert mag. 7- Mag can now drop freely again. This is my only CZ (TS .40) so I'm not sure if its a CZ specific issue. I've never had this problem in any of my other guns.
  3. I have this exact same issue with the factory grips and factory mags on my TS .40. I've broken mags down a few times for cleaning and it still happens every now and then. It doesn't always happen, but when it does the slide doesn't lock back even with an empty mag inserted. One thing I found is that when the issue arises, it is usually during dry fire practice. When it occurs I notice that the slide lock/release is slightly out of place. If I remove the mag and push the slide lock all the way in, the problem is resolved and mags will drop free again.
  4. If I get the CZC large magwell, will the full size aluminum black thick grips (these or these) fit or will they need to be trimmed? CZC says the large magwell needs the ultra thin aluminum grips but I have large hands and prefer thicker grips.
  5. Any updates on the J&L thumbrest @selecw? I'm thinking about getting one but your last post threw that idea out the window.
  6. I've been shooting my new TS .40 for a couple of months now. Upgraded to fiber optic front sight and extended safety. The next upgrade are the grips. I have large hands and want to keep the factory mag well (for now). What are your recommendations for good TS .40 grips for large hands and factory mag well?
  7. I have the TS .40 and bought both the Dawson's .215T/.090W and .195T/.100W. Installed the .195T with my stock rear sight and it is dead on. This post is what you should read before purchasing your Dawson front sight: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=203436&page=2#entry2306682
  8. This is exactly what I was looking for, thank you so much Tyler!!
  9. I'm new to the forum and to CZ's . I have a couple of Rugers and a FNX-45. I have a TS .40 on its way to me and I've been reading this and other forums in preparation. Planning on shooting both reloads and factory ammo. I've read a few comments here and there about the TS slide stops cracking after a few thousand rounds. Is that something I should be worried about if I'm going to be using factory ammo? I also read about the DPM Recoil Reduction Systems and am kind of on the fence about it. Is it BS or would it help prevent potential slide stop cracking and improve follow-up shots? I'm kinda leaning on the side of it being BS and instead just ordering different strength recoil springs from czcustom for different loads, but I'm interested in hearing the opinions of the experts here about the DPM.
  10. I don't work for Kohl's but I do work in computer security and I can say for certain that Kohl's is most likely NOT maintaining that block list. Most likely, as with many other companies, they are subscribing to some third-party WiFi service which in turns subscribes to some other third-party Internet security service which in turn subscribes to some other third-party security vendor which maintains those block lists. I doubt Kohl's even knows what it is they are blocking or allowing.
  11. I guess the only right answer for me is to buy both and try them out. Thanks again for the info.
  12. Registered just to thank you for your answers leas327 and tayler2you. I have my first CZ on order, a CZ 75 TS in .40. Am really glad of all the positive feedback about this gun and can't wait to get my hands on it. Follow-up question in the Dawson FO FS. Has it been established whether the .195T or the .215T is the one that replaces the factory FS? Since I don't have the gun yet I'd like to order the correct one that measures exactly like the factory sight.
