i loaded up a few 120gr tc 9mm bullets, with 3 different powders and off to the range, 90%of them keyhole sideways into the target at 10 or 25yds, in 4 different 9mm semi's, so now i have to pull the rest of them, any ideas the cause. all were loaded to 1.040 chet

i purchased a some so called grip tape a few try ago, it has a rubberized textured finish, it is not aggressive enough, any other ideas that are wort a try, something abrasive would be better, i never tried skateboard tape, i am not sure it has much flex for a handgun. thanks chet

i went to a steel challenge yesterday for the first time, there was a guy there shooting the new taurus tx22 with a modified slide with a red dot, looked like a vortex viper or venom, he was so fast and accurate, makes me think when i go to my next shoot if i would do better scoring with a 22 rimfire chet

hey Gary i had a P320 a few yrs ago. trigger was not to my liking, did not want to spend over 200 dollars back then, i have to say, maybe i should have kept it, because last week i did shoot a new p 320 with the apex trigger, awesome trigger half the price of the grays job chet

try a canik TP9SFX, it will shoot a tighter group that either the glock 34 or the X 5, this is off sand bags, i am not that good off an offhand shooter to compare, might even shoot a tad tighter than my new Shadow 2 chet

my buddy is about the make the purchase on a new cz, he likes my cz 75b sa, he was looking a cz 75b and did not like the beavertail, the 75b sa is different and he likes that, there is a local gun shop that has a Spo1 pn 91152, other than the rail, is this the same as the 75b sa in the grip area and same beavertail chet

lately i have been getting erratic bullet runout on some bullets, i came up with a solution quick and easy, i don't have any pics, but hope you can follow, you will need a 223 case, i full size it and insert a bullet in backwards, reason for this so you chuck it up in a drill press or a hand drill, take the lee bullet seater out of the die, notice there is a hole in the bottom, chuck up the case and file it down at the bottom, use a fine file and slowly file it down till it fits in the hole of the seater, when close use fine sand paper 600 grit of whatever so the finish is smooth, only need to do about 3/4 inch up from the bottom once you get a loose slip fit about .003 to .005 clearance. the while in the chuck i get a file and start to file a groove to cut of the finished pc, make it at least 5/8 to 3/4 " max.when it falls off, then smooth the inside edge. get a spring that fits in the case, around 1 1/2" long put it in the case and assemble, notice when you push a loaded round in the die you will feel pressure, this is what keeps the bullet in the center right up till you seat the bullet, since i done this to my lee pistol dies i no longer get bullets that look like they have a wobble when rolling it on a flat surface. chet

i picked up a few hundred of Bayou 9mm 105gr coated bullets, load data is hard to come by, was wondering if Sport pistol would be ideal and where should i start with the charge chet

took my friend to the range today, he wants to get a 9mm semi for target shooting. he tried a few of my striker fired pistols, don't care for them, he shot my witness match elite, CZ 75B SA and my new Shadow2. he cannot afford the shadow 2. he actually likes my CZ 75 B SA, i was looking around and local dealers say they are discontinued. so it brings a question, if he were to get a CZ 75B, can it be converted to near the trigger of my CZ 75B SA without much expense. am i missing any options thanks chet

someone mentioned high bore axis, i had a P320 a bit too much muzzle flip, the trigger was poor, looked into grays triggers, overpriced. sold it. now there was a fellow at the range with a new sig P320 with apex trigger and it was nice, trigger was half the price of the grays trigger. still the P320 X5 is nice but sad to say on the average a Canik TP9SFX will out shoot the Sig. i now own the Canik, trigger reset is shorter and not an Apex trigger but it's ok. chet

my shadow 2 is shooting approx 2 1/2" to the left at 25yds, i loosened the 2 set screws i tapped pretty hard with a hard plastic hammer, no luck, any ideas is it going to take heavier duty tools. chet
