  1. I have the ulw barrel for the 15-22 had to change the recoil spring to a pistol spring. Maybe something like that for the 10/22 call Tim at Taccom he has always responded and answered questions.
  2. Does Alpha X have good retention for running, good for 2 gun competitions?
  3. Would everyone Still use the everglades for tactical 2 gun type events or is there a better option for those games?
  4. You know what it went well. Also been shooting a practical, steel only, match in indiana. It is a very good time. https://practiscore.com/wvrpc-rimfire-falling-steel-11-5-2023/register Last one this weekend till spring. Also saw the 2025 IPSC mini rifle world shoot will be in Czech Republic. Now to figure out how to qualify and get a ticket to go.
  5. I agree it looks like a bunch of fun. I also have been looking for mini gun matches and having a hard time finding them. Most say do steel challenge, I am sure is fun but, its more stand and deliver than I personally like. Look up Rimfire falling steel matches on practiscore, there are 2 that I know of one in Indiana and one in Tennessee. Its all steel targets but set up like a practical match, the club in Indiana I have been to and it is a good time. It would be nice to find a true mini gun match like they get in England with some longer range and paper.
  6. Thanks for the info that helps a lot. Will start looking into this
  7. I was thinking that it could be done easy enough, thanks for the info. Do you know if there is still a world shoot for mini rifle, and how many matches would need to be held to qualify for it?
  8. If anyone is interested this is a club near me that got me thinking along the IPSC mini gun lines. It's an outlaw match but follows uspsa rules and includes .22 pistols. On practiscore search Darnall action 22 cal league In Bloomington IL
  9. Right, it would be range friendly with the right targets. Not really looking to piggy back a uspsa match, but have a stand alone event. You could easily enough include .22 pistols so might draw some guys from the steel challenge crowd.
  10. Seems like if you want to shoot .22 in competition for the usa its steel challenge which personally I love the speed but hate the stand and deliver part, or NRL 22 which is fun but also very little movement. Outlaws are fun and all but looking for more structure and a chance to compete at world level.
  11. Lol on the real guns, a challenge is a challenge regardless of caliber. Not trying to start a caliber snob discussion, but .22 is kind of a gateway caliber so the potential for new shooters is high. That seems like a win for most any practical shooting you do. As far as I can tell they have world shoots for ipsc mini rifle, just like pcc, shotgun, and rifle.
  12. Looks like some fun fast shooting similar uspsa. I like shooting rifle, pcc is an option but these little .22lr AR's are just as fun, and the guys over seas are really tricking them out.
  13. Mini Rifle looks like a blast. Only match I can find in the USA is in Utah which I'm sure is great but I am in Illinois. Few videos on YouTube but its all in the UK. Is nobody playing this in the states? Just not enough interest?
  14. Found some good info on the Facebook page. They are getting some more barrels ready to go in a few weeks, if anyone is looking, you might want to get on the list.
  15. Any new videos of the finished product running? Am on the waiting list can't wait till can get one of these for the 15-22
  16. Whats been better for everyone a heavy build or light. On the gun builder I can spec one as light as 5.5lb or heavy as 7.6lb. 2lb is not a lot for me physically is there a benift either way other than personal preference?
  17. On a long stage with lots of targets, it wouldn't matter? Keeping the barrel cooler seems like a good thing, the weight is minimal surley it does something if JP suggest you get one.
  18. What does everyone think about the thermal dissapator on the barrel worth it or not?
  19. Thanks guys thats the kind of feed back I was looking for. What is it about the KR 9 that you wouldn't use it for competition?
  20. Sadly there seems to be a lack of shooters familiar with the dissidents
  21. Thanks for the input. Hopefully someone that has a dissident version will chime in with what they like about them.
  22. People with these how do you like them. Trying to decide between one of these and a JP-5. Anyone that has shot or have both what are your thoughts. Anyone competing with a KR 9 how does it run for you?
  23. Thanks EaZeNuTZ33 that is the kind of honest opinion I was looking for.
  24. That's interesting they would still use a 1x6 over 1x10 I wonder if it's because they feel more comfortable on the 1x6 because they are used to it or 1x10 just not that much better
