  1. I have a Sig P320 X5 and I want to use the gun in IPSC production. I want to change the base pads of the standard 17 round magazines with competition base pads. The problem is I'm in Europe and I can't find such base pads for P320 magazines over here. I would like springer base pads but they don't ship internationally. Henning not, Taran tactical not, ... And I still haven't found a shop who ships them internationally I'm wondering if I can use base pads for other guns on a P320 magazine. P226 or CZ base pads? These I can purchase in Europe and there are also European manufacturers. I have a Tanfoglio Stock II and Eric Grauffel base pads but those don't fit on the P320 magazine.
  2. What spare parts would you keep on hand for a Sig P320?
  3. So, out right, left in.
  4. How do I remove the firing pin positioning pin from an P226 X-Five Allround? It has the knurled solid pin. Is this also from right to left? Someone told me it is from left to right for X series. But that seems odd. In what side of the slide is knurled part?
  5. Brownells ships internationally, TGS not. And Brownells doesn't sell the spiral pin separately.
  6. Can anyone tell me that this kit contains the newer spiral pin? 732-000-459WB Sig Sauer P226 9mm Parts Kit Mfr Part: 2269PKIT http://www.brownells.com/handgun-parts/action-parts/spring-kits/sig-sauer-p226-9mm-parts-kit-sku732000459-60489-125741.aspx?sku=732-000-459
  7. Which roll pin (firing pin positioning pin) do I need for a Sig Sauer P226 LDC? Can anyone give me a partsnumber?
  8. What is the stock recoil and main spring weight on the Shadow 2?
  9. When new it wasn't that stiff as the new one.
  10. If I should replace the rear sight with one that can also adjust windage. Would this be IPSC production legal?
  11. At the Grauffel webshop you can only order recoil springs in different lbs and they are 140 mm. Nothing like long slide or 120mm standard slide. So I guess you have to cut coils if you don't have a long slide to get the 120 mm. But is the recoil spring than still 10 lbs if I cut coils? Or do I have to take a stronger spring to cut coils?
  12. I wanted to change my Stock II Xtreme 9mm recoil spring with a new 10 lbs recoil spring I ordered from Eric. I now see that the recoil spring in the gun is 120mm long and the new recoil spring is 140mm long and has some coils more. The 140mm recoil spring requires more strength to rack the slide. I liked the smoother operation of the 120mm spring. Do I have the wrong recoil spring or can I cut coils? Does the xtreme come with a 10 lbs recoil spring from factory or is it less?
  13. I sent CZ custom a mail. Sightpusher told me I need the 10 degr. angled block set for the Shadow 2. So maybe I'm gonna order that block set for $8. Strange thing is that it seems like if I put the pistol on a a table, benchrest or whatever, align front and rear sight the red dot from the boresight sits just above my front sight. If I take the pistol in my hands align the sights the red dot is just left of the front sight. Is this in issue with my grip or eyesight?
  14. Do you have to heat it when using a pusher? I have got this sight pusher https://sightpusher.com/ But I can't get the slide locked in place, the slide isn't square.
  15. I have a Shadow 2 and want to move the rear sight a little bit to the right. POI is somewhat to the left and if I use a Sightmark boresight the dot is also just a bit to the left. I removed the set screws, gave it a few goods wacks with a hammer and punch but no movement at all. How can get that bugger to move a very little bit to right? Does CZ use loctite on it? Or should I leave it alone and just use a slightly different sight picture when shooting something small at 20-25 meters, for example an ipsc popper. If I aim dead center on a popper from 25 meter the bullet just misses the popper on the left. I use the gun in ipsc not for target shooting.
  16. Does anyone have any experience with warranty repair by Tanfoglio in Europe?
  17. I was wondering if attached picture displays normal wear on the locking cut outs in the slide of my Stock II Xtreme. You can see that the sharp edges are being rounded. Is this normal wear or break-in wear or will this get worse with possible stability of locking issues with the barrel? If so how can I avoid this rounding of the cutouts? The barrel lugs look rather good.
  18. I use the xtreme 3mm x 5.25mm front sight from Grauffel and it still prints low. Rear sight is still 15 clicks up. I'm considering a Dawson but I can't make a choice between: .110T x .105 .120T x .100 .125T x .115 What would be my best choice?
  19. Ok, so this is normal with these guns? And with a lighter hammer spring it will hit the beavertail some more I presume. I have some other guns with a large beavertail and with that gun the hammer can't go so far that it can hit the beavertail.
  20. When I rack the slide the hammer does not contact the beavertail. With the slide back and the slide stop engaged there is 5/32 inch between the hammer and the beavertail. But I can imagine that when firing the slide gets thrown back with a lot more force and the hammer goes further then when racking manually?
  21. I Installed the Titan Hammer and the light hammer and firing pin spring from EG. On the back of the hammer is now a spot where the black finish is gone. See picture. On the beavertail there is corresponding dull spot. Is it normal behaviour that the hammer touches the beaver tail when firing. Do I have to worry about it? Springs that are too light?
  22. I succeeded fitting the sear to the safety. With a lot of patience, removing very little and repeating, repeating, repeating... And suddenly the safety engaged Everything works fine now. Thank you for the support.
