  1. I ordered my Razorcat (just realized I called it the wrong model.. "Saborcat" geesh...) with a plastic grip and a steel grip for the wife. Still waiting.... Sigh.
  2. So after watching Socallprepper's youtube video regarding holding the primer feed tube spring assembly, I came up with this idea: And in application: I will sell these for $14.95 per and they are ready for shipment.
  3. And do I have to buy that exact product from the link? Or can I buy something else? For mag pouch I get bass pro shops cheap cloth molly compatible mag pouch. Reloading brings me to Cabelas for their general reloading page. Hope this helps as I would love to help the website wherever possible.
  4. If you could make it so that the cursor is not placed in front of the link, that would be great, thanks. Try these sentences. I want to buy some es. mag pouch I enjoy 9mm. reloading This is what happened when you just type without correction. A bit annoying. Interesting that it only creates 1 link but still kicks the cursor to the beginning of the word on .reloading above (but then creates the link just now for the second go around.) Hope this helps.
  5. I really want to buy some esmag pouch Doh!! Again!! Geesh.
  6. Hi Brian!! The greatest tool I bought to improve my accuracy was a reloading machine. If you are on a budget, put your money into that first and get the cheapest mag pouches and holsters for now. Then shoot as much as you can as often as you can. To give you an idea, I am working on the next weekend's match and plan to shoot 3 times and about 1,000 rounds in preparation. So ammunition is the most important thing for you now. Good luck sir.
  7. I just chronographed the load of 8.8 grains with a 124 grain Montana Gold bullet and got speeds of 1373 high, 1353 low, 1362 average, with average PF of 168.88. It is a tungsten sleeved heavy barrel, if that helps at all.
  8. I am not sure what the power factor was for the 9mm major but do know that it was above 165. For the 38 Super Comp I am getting 1362 fps with a 124 grain Montana Gold Bullet, which is 168.88.

  10. Just to confirm, do you sort this brass at all or just throw it in the reloading machine and go?
  11. Ahh, that is a very nice website. Thank you for sharing. So I checked out one place for 12k of 9mm cleaned brassed for $371, so thats $0.03 per round. If I get 6 reloadings out of my 38 Super Comp brass, then the both balance out, don't they? So for all of the 38 Super Comp shooters, how many times have you reused the brass? This might help everyone understand the cost debate.
  12. My new chronograph arrives this Tuesday, but then I have hunting duties for the next few weeks, so will have to get back to you sometime September. But if I bag a big game early then I will likely have time.
  13. Where are you getting your 9mm brass cheap? And for how much?
  14. I am trying to get into and find this annoying. reloading There you go, placing the cursor in front of the word.
  15. I suspect the reason why this would not work is safety. If one primer were to ignite, you would want the reinforced aluminum to protect you from a massive chain reaction. Better to have the intact primers fly out the top of the tube instead of them all going like detonation cord.
  16. Thank you guys. I went ahead and ordered my RF 100 just now. Really appreciate you all sharing your experiences.
  17. So can anyone tell me about this operating on a slightly vibrating reloading bench? My concern is that I cannot start on my reloading with my Dillon 650 mounted on the same table until the primer feeder is finished. To me that is the biggest selling point of this primer feeder. It is pretty much completely hands free and automatic. Just dump and go.
  18. You know, so do I. I was concerned about such a small dot but I think maybe dot size is relative. I wonder how they measure it and whether there are any standards set forth in the industry. The dot is really easy to pick up, even in bright sunlight. I cannot imagine needing to go into a higher brightness setting as I find the setting just one setting below maximum as good.
  19. My wife and I absolutely love our MSA Sordins. I have not found the need to double up with ear foams, even indoors with my Open gun. I have had mine for 5 years and hers for 3 years. No battery drain issues. I think I replace the batteries once every 2 years or so, and this is with moderate usage. I suspect MSA will take care of the issue.
  20. Thank you for posting your helpful tips. I am contemplating buying one but had a question. Does vibration from reloading on the same bench cause flipped primers? I have a gun mat but have the bench mounted to the wall. This bench is SUPER sturdy and barely moves when I reload, so just curious about your comment above. Can you make adjustments to its plumbness? I have my bench level, but wasn't sure if I need to be thinking about shims (pieces of paper?).
  21. Thank you for sharing your experience. I keep getting push back (no pun intended) for choosing 38 Super Comp over 9mm Major. I am curious, how much did the round grow?
  22. I get them at Powder Valley Inc. and purchased the 4 pound kegs. Otherwise it is $33 per pound with the 1 pound keg.
  23. Thank you for sharing. From what I can tell and compared to the real thing, I think the swing is faster at the top. I know that must be hard to accomplish. But great video, thank you!
