Topton Fish & Game Association will kick off it's 3 Gun season for 2016 with a regular monthly match on Sunday March 20th. Check in at 8:30, shooters briefing at 9:00, hammer down at 9:30. We are going to keep it simple for the first match.....rifle/pistol only with 4 stages. Round count will be less than 200 total. This will be a great opportunity to shake off the rust, try out the new gear and get ready for the rest of the season. Please preregister by email to topton3gunregister@yahoo.com. We will collect the match fee of $20 the morning of the match. Maximum of 48 shooters. The kitchen at the clubhouse will be open for breakfast. Please support the club by stopping in. As always the match is subject to the weather co-operating. Thanks Steve, Scratches are being caused by the rifle...they are clean before being loaded. What could be causing this? What could happen to the rifle that would lead to this?

After reloading for 20 years I have run into a new problem. My .270 reloads are now failing to extract from my bolt gun and when I finally get them out they are showing multiple, vertical scratches around the case neck. It's happening with new brass as well as brass that has been reloaded several times. Always full length resize. Any suggestions on why this would suddenly start happening?
