  9. Thanks man it was way better by Monday morning. Thanks man I'm going to stick with it for a little while Let me know how you make out
  10. Yeah it's bone stock straight out of the box. After reading all these posts I think I'll stick with it, just slowly every couple of days a little bit. The pain has really subsided by Monday morning. Thanks I'll watch some YouTube videos. Maybe. I kinda don't want to do all that work to this gun I'm hearing the learning curve is steep and I don't want to pay a hundred bucks for a box of primers. Just Wana use the ones I already have
  11. No sure how to ask this but I'm a decent normal gun shoooter, A class in limited. Always shoot 2011's with awesome triggers. Fast forward to yesterday I got my first revolver a brand new stock 627. I shot 100 rounds through it with a little dry fire in there. About 3/4 the way through shooting it my trigger finger and the guts in my arm that make the finger work started really hurting. Woke up today and it feels terrible. I shot a match today in limited like always and did absolutely terrible, probably the worst match I ever shot. Is it because I have Old People Problems or is it because I never really used these muscles like this before? If it's not arthritis is it possible to develop the muscles to pull this trigger or does shooting a revolver always make your arm and hand hurt? Will it ruin me for shooting light trigger guns? I am pretty busted up I raced motocross for 12 years, got a bad back, wrists, knees. Been a boilermaker for 15 years, not really nice to my body. 42 years old 6 foot 225 lbs.
  12. I don't understand all the posts about growing the game. Every match around here fills up in minutes except Eastern shore. Every dude I've seen at a match with a 9mm 2011 with a slide mounted red dot is either a 3 gun guy that didn't have a 3 gun match to shoot that day or a guy that can't hit the broad side of a barn. None of them read the rules or even care what the rules say and none of them are uspsa members. They also sign up for CO every time.
  13. One of the neat things about uspsa is you can compete against yourself. I shoot limited and don't care what anyone else shoots. Major PF is a huge advantage as well and it's just fun not having to aim at poppers or make sure they go down, if it dings it dies just keep going. Stages that have good flow with medium distance targets you can beat everyone with raw speed and not worry about the A zone.
  14. You could always use a holster to change mags. Just put the gun in the holster 3/4 of the way and hit the mag release. Then put it all the way in the holster, pull the mag out and put a new one in. There's no rule against this as long as the safety is engaged. You could charge the gun this way as well as long as the safety is engaged first. You'd have to rack the gun when you uncase and engage the safety, holster, mag, rack, safety off, low ready... Could also get the slide racker style thing (bar style, not the ring) that goes on the back of the bolt and just hook that into your belt to run the bolt For loading mags that cheap red thing that holds the spring down would work you'd just need a way to hold the mag upright. Possibly if somone could make steel basplates you could put a magnet on top of an ammo can to hold the mag or something along those lines. There's dozens of ways to adapt. If you need anything made or welded feel free to send me your number I don't charge any money, just shipping
  15. It's also the easiest thing to learn. 10 minutes a day for 2 weeks and your a pro.

Hi Will did you ever get a chance to ship that barrel?

  17. There's usually around 15 people in open at CJ and OB, couple less at Quinton. It's a healthy division here. It's a 7 year mandatory sentence for having 11 round magazines here but not a single person ever has gotten in trouble for having one. As far as shooting goes it's a great place to live because you have a lot of choices of a lot of matches every Saturday and Sunday. The winters kinda suck though if you don't like shooting in the cold.
  18. @TheChef1 let us know how you like it!
  19. The price varied a lot on the regular rival in the beginning as well
  20. Is that freedom ammo their reloads? If it is they probably didn't small base die it. That combined with some ar10 barrels are to tight to begin with causes them to get stuck. You could dychem the rounds or just use a sharpie to see where they are binding. It could also be your head spacing but that's rare these days, wouldn't hurt to check or have it checked. What makes you think it's not a gas problem for the cycling? That's pretty much always the problem. How did you line up the gas port? Do you have a bores cope to check it? Open that gas block all the way up.
  21. What about a division for people that identify as cats and shoot cans of wasp and hornet spray?
