  1. What are the rules for using an SBR in 9 mm to shoot PCC in USPSA? Is this allowed? Or is there a barrel length minimum for PCC? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Forget the adjustable GB. They will seize up at some point and just make you frustrated. All you need is a low mass BCG with JP Silent Captured Spring with variable spring kit. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. It's hard to believe this post has over 3K replies to it. I remember reading page after page two years ago when I started modifying my Steoger. Great bits of info here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Just wanted to add something for everyone's consideration. In the event someone would find themselves in a life threatening situation and would have to use a firearm, said firearm would be confiscated in the investigation. Chances are slim one would ever get the firearm back. You can consider it gone. That is why inexpensive polymer carry guns like the shield are attractively priced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I hate going to the public range. I don't trust anybody. Especially with inexperienced people in the lane next to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Ordered some Bladetechs for my MBX Mags and they did not fit. The item description even said fits most double stack magazines so it was a risk. They were cheap enough as they were on sale with tekloks. I kept the tekloks to use on a set of custom Kydex mag pouches from a local gun show. Perfect fit. Even got them in the color I wanted Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I've recently ordered the boss hanger and the GLS because of this thread and other discussions in FB groups, solely based on this recommendation Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Totally geeked. This is my first major I will be shooting. Hope to meet some of you there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks all. The cases are properly seated in position according to the Dillon manual. I will start separating the LC cases from the rest. The IK cases I will set aside probably in the trash. I have the Lee depriming die on it's way. I'm thinking of ordering yet another dillon tool head just for depriming. I don't want to buy an additional single stage press just to deprime the cases.
  10. So to those who use the universal de capping die do you run the dillon resize die without the dillon decapping pin in your progressive?
  11. Thanks Steve That's the exact one I just ordered. So someone tell me what's with the Berdan primers?
  12. I'll try one of the many universal depriming dies that's out there. Never knew these existed. I just assumed the Dillon size and decap die was all I needed. I'm still out of luck on the dillon pins.
  13. Of the few cases I did run through the first stage, the two that did not give me problems has a head stamp that says LC with NATO symbol. I'm assuming Lake City. The problem cases that I ran into say IK 13 556x45. These appear to have smaller primer holes after I inspected more closely. The pin has a harder time going through this hole. The pin appears to struggle going through these. The LC cases the primer hole appear bigger. The pin easily goes through this hole. I was unable to go through more of the range brass because my back up pin is now broken as well.
  14. Last night I began installing the 223 conversion on my 650. When I got to the resizer and decapping die portion, the decapping pin bent within the first two cases. I replaced the pin with the extra one that came with the die set. Again within four cases the pin bent and is rendered useless. The dies I purchased are the steel dies and not the carbide if that makes any difference. The brass I am using is random range brass in 556 mostly. Any insight would help...
  15. Hello from south east Michigan. New to the forum and new to competition. I've run through two USPSA competitions at a local gun club the past two months and have absolutely enjoyed it. Looking forward to gaining knowledge advice and friends. Glad to be here. I'm in production and running an M&P Pro CORE 9L no optics. Hoping to try 3Gun next year! Also recently picked up a Dillon 650 and will be going through a learning curve. Hoping to pick up a lot of info here with reloading.
